I present scientific presentations/ demonstrations about gems and jewellery. Also I conduct lectures in gems & jewellery at company premises and at different destinations for foreign and local tourists. These lectures are more focused on sales promotion of the company while delivering the product knowledge. Lecturing is done in English and in French to motivate customers to consume Sri Lankan gems and gem encrusted jewellery one of my other responsibilities are to meet sales targets by getting along with the sales team on sales promotion and conducting marketing programs.
I have achieved very good profit oriented results by organizing sales promotional gem and jewellery exhibitions for Sri Lankan consumers during the past Covid-19 period.
Responsibilities of this job includes managing the affairs of gem testing laboratory and also customer care including lecturing customers in English and in French.
This job has been a great achievement for me to to enhance my customer care in relevance to international gem and jewellery consumers.
Responsibilities of this job were to sell gems and jewellery and customer care.
As a novice to the trade at that time this job gave me to achieve experience about selling nd customer care. also this has been a temptation for me to learn languages and gemmology.
The field of study the Ph.D is Marketing Management. I am pending the viva voce of my Ph.D. Thesis that I have submitted on 12 th May 2020. I contribute to the research in the field of consumer behavior in gem and jewellery. I have participated and also presented in research symposiums and also I have contributed to several research symposiums that are pending presentations. I have contributed to research publications which are pending the review process.
The GPA is 2.91. I have done the research component in Marketing and it concentrated on consumer behaviour of gem and jewellery.
I have obtained a Second Class Upper Division for this degree
This Diploma I have passed with a Pass. This is called as Diploma superior in French Language and Culture
