Managed and implemented the recruitment process “starting with evaluating the need of new jobs, to interviewing and hiring, to finally make the decision for the selection” in Amman, Syria and Turkey
Developed strategies to educate new and existing employees about the company, human resource policies at initial hire and when changes were made
Training:
Acted as a focal point for staff appraisals and training plans in Amman, Syria and Turkey
Handled and led the onboarding trainings for new hires
Administration:
Act as a focal point for disciplinary procedures according to the internal regulations and terms & conditions of engagement in close coordination with line managers and ensure that disciplinary procedures are respected and applied
Demonstrated strong ethics and professional practices, show professional ethics, respect and promote Handicap International mandate by observing and respecting strict confidentiality
Coordination:

Providing support in all HR function areas
* Recruiting - Manage recruitment and selection campaigns including advertising, arranging interviews both locally and regionally, job descriptions and job offers
* Administration - Ensure compliance and continual update and up-keep of various systems with accuracy including employee files, HR systems, employee leave logs etc.
* HR policies and procedures - Design and implement HR practices, policies and procedures and ensure proper communication and compliance
* Employee On-boarding - Manage employee onboarding of new employees
* Organizational Development - Contribute to the evaluation and development of HR function. Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices
* Employee Relations - Offers consultation, facilitation and resolution strategies for workplace issues
• Oversee the administration of compensation programs.

Recruitment at BOJ is one of the most important function in Human Resources Department.
As a recruiter, my main roles include:
- Developing a good understanding of the position and the department demands
- Prepare and post job vacancies
- Building up a pipeline
- Headhunting, identifying and approaching suitable candidates
Working as an HR Officer after graduating gave me the opportunity to learn and feed my passion in the Human Resources field. I was responsible for the day to day HR issues such as:
