Riyadh Metro Rail Project
Location - Riyadh (KSA)
- Key Functions:
Asst. Resident Engineer for 3 Stations Building works, 1 Park and Ride Building and 6 km of Viaduct including Special spans.
After completion of above assignment, I was given the responsibility of lead QA/QC Engineer for Line-2
As Asst. Resident Engineer:
• Assist to manage all the phases of project Management / Construction Management.
• Implements a project safety plan and ensures that it is communicated to all teammates on the job site. Actively promotes and supports safety policies and monitors the job site for good safety practices.
• Leading the team of engineers and inspector to monitor Safety and Quality Standard.
• Organise contractors’ work inspections requests (WIR) to ensure that the permanent works are constructed according to the contract, applicable codes, standards, approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor the construction operations for process conformance with the approved construction documents including but not limited to the project contract, specifications, quality control plan, safety plans, schedule, request for information (RFIs), change orders, pay requests, shop drawings, As built drawings and contract closeout. Ensure that senior management is apprised of all deviations from the project baseline data (i.e. original scope, specification, schedule, etc.)
• Review of Work Schedule, Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Work Methodology, and Certification of invoice.
• Progress monitoring and coordination with contractor against the approved work schedule and generates weekly / monthly reports for management reporting.
• Coordination meetings with contractor, stakeholder and authorities. Provides meeting minutes, documentation and tracking of relevant information.
• Maintaining drawings and document system to meet the Project Quality Assurance Plan requirements.
• Responsible for Utility Diversion works viz. Portable Water Lines, Sewer Lines, Storm water lines, Electrical Cables and communication cables including coordination between stakeholder and contractor.
• Responsible for road diversions, approval of traffic diversion plans, Asphalt works, traffic signal installation and maintenance of public road around work area
• Responsible for construction activities for Foundation and sub-structure works which includes Mono-shaft (Piling), Open foundations, Pier, Pier Cap, Cantilever and straddle Pier/ Pier Cap, segment erection and Balance cantilever spans.
• Responsible for construction activities for Track works which includes tracks supporting structure, Rail fixation (Direct Fixation, EBS and ERS), Third rail installation and walkway/ cable tray support structure.
• Responsible for construction activities for Station Building Works which includes Earth Works, Soil Stabilization, Water proofing, Structural works and Architectural works.
• Responsible for MEP works viz. Installation of Firefighting network, HVAC and plumbing network, electrical installations, fire alarm system for stations.
• Work to build a cooperative partnership between the client, contractor, and all stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of project issues and the overall success of the project.
As Lead QA/QC Engineer for Line-2:
• Conducts audits to verify adherence by DB Contractors and their Sub-Contractors to the approved Project Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plan and Procedures.
• Ensures compliance of the works to the contract requirements and related operational procedures (i.e. Construction Work Packages (CWPs), Method Statements (MSTs), ITPs) including testing frequencies.

@ Delhi Metro Rail Project:
Key Functions: Asst. Construction Manager. (Planning Manager)
• Assist to manage all phases of project management including planning, construction management, schedule creation, Project mobilization and MIS reports.
• Prepare and update resources level Construction schedule.
• Prepare Job Estimation and costing (Accepted Cost Estimate - ACE) and update the job estimate monthly (Job Cost Report -JCR) with LMP break ups.
• Prepare and update the Budgets for financial year.
• Prepare financial status reports for management reporting (Cost, Sales, GM, PBIT, ATR)
• Contracts Management including EOT, Claims for extra items.
• Major & minor materials forecast and material reconciliation for major materials and estimating the project requirements like form work, P&M and other asset materials.
• Resource allocation and resource management.
• Track progress of projects against goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets, and generates reports on status (Gap Analysis)
• Research and report on delayed activities and propose remedial actions to accelerate progress (Delay analysis).
Prepare Work methodology for various viaduct construction activities.
• Conducting regular meetings with execution team with agenda and circulation Minutes of Meeting.
• Maintaining drawings and document system to meet the requirements of ISO Audit.
• Subcontractor Management with sub-contractors bill verification.
• Working closely with other functional areas of the organization, project contractors, internal team members, external collaborators and suppliers.
@ Bangalore Metro Rail Project
Key Functions: Pre-cast Yard In charge (Box Segments, Parapets, I-Girder Casting and T-Beam)
• End to end responsibility for Pre-cast works of the Project.
• Casting of Segments, I-Girder, T- Beam & Parapet.
• Completion of daily, weekly & monthly targets meeting the quality & safety standards.
• Preparation of Bar Bending Schedule and certification of the same from the Engineer -In-Charge.
• Preparation of concrete pours as per drawing/checklists and pursuing approval for concrete pour from the consultant.
• Workmen Management to achieve and improve the Productivity Norms.
• Material reconciliation and estimating the work requirements like Consumables, form work and other asset materials.
• Prepare Work schedule, Span geometry plans for match casting and methodology for pre-cast construction activities.
• Maintaining drawings and document system to meet the requirements of ISO Audit.
• Design co-ordination with client and consultant.
@ Mumbai Metro Rail Project
Key Functions: Planning Engineer
• Assist to manage all phases of project management including planning, schedule creation, Monitoring & MIS reports. Prepare and update resources level Construction Programme.
• Daily, Weekly & Monthly Progress Reports.
• Major & minor materials forecast and material reconciliation for major materials and estimating the project requirements like form work, P&M and other asset materials.
• Track progress of projects against goals, objectives, timelines and generates reports on status (Delay Analysis and Gap Analysis)
• Maintaining drawings and document system to meet the requirements of ISO Audit.
• Prepare Lifting plans & draw the viaduct alignment from sub-structure schedule to find out the Super Structure setting out point’s coordinates for erection with help of auto-cad.
• Co-ordination for all initial and routine pile load test for bored cast-in-situ pile.
• Prepare report for vertical and lateral pile load test for bored cast-in-situ pile.
• Working closely with other functional areas of the organization, project contractors, internal team members, external collaborators and suppliers.
Description: The project included 16 buildings with 11+2 floors, Residential and commercial complex, internal roads and other amenities.
Key Functions: Jr. Engineer
• Prepare daily and weekly progress report.
• As responsible of Internal road work executes all the activities related to Road work,
• Plan and execute all activities related to Road work.
• Execution of all activities viz. column, beam & Slab Concreting, Brick work, Plaster.
• Preparing Bar Bending Schedule & Reinforcement checking accordingly.
• Checking of formwork, Quality of concrete.
Bachelor of Civil Engineering from SSBT’s C.O.E.T, Bambhori, Jalgaon, - North Maharashtra University in 2007 with 1st Class
