- Overarching responsibility for the cost management procurement and contracting of all projects.
- Develop a business plan for the company's cost management, procurement and contracting.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to explore alternative vendors, materials and recourses.
- Conduct one-on-one relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
- Create and conduct proposal presentations.
- Provide for continuous control, review and follow-up of commercial operations to ensure objectives are obtained, changes are coordinated, and problems resolved.
- Maintain and develop existing commercial relationships.
- Complex proposal writing, developing pricing strategy, performing financial and competitive analysis, assessing market conditions related to pricing and contract negotiations.

• Stream lining all procedures related to the Planning in the Engineering Department.
• Review current status of both Engineering and Procurement for the Project
• Prepare a revised detailed Level 3 control schedule (Primavera) incorporating the physical status and all change orders
• Assist the cost engineer in the revised control budget.
• Revise the drawing and document register used at level 5 to ensure all were identified and entered for the basis of scope.
• Review and advice on actions required for recovery on procurement schedules from the Contractors, to meet delivery at site for the on site required dates.
• Prepare scenarios to show the impact of Design Change Notices to the completion of the Project.
• Representing the Company in meetings with Clients/ Consultants
• Review & respond to Claim of Time Extension & associated cost

• To provide contractual support to projects and tenders and protect the Organization’s financial and contractual rights.
• Co-coordinating with Project and Estimation Department for the preparation and Floating of inquires for obtaining Sub-Contractor’s quotations.

• Preparation of Sub-Contract & Contract Agreements for General Manager’s approval.
• Administration of Contracts in respect of contractual matters, i.e. Variations, Claims, etc.
• Preparation of Monthly Contracts & Sub-Contracts Status Report.
• Settling of Sub-Contractors Final Accounts.
• Preparation of Claims.
• Review and approval of Sub-Contractors’ monthly valuation.
- Manage project controls activities, including implementation of control systems and tools, establishment of the monitoring and progress reporting system for projects and their financial performance.
- Review and advise Management on Main Contracts, Subcontracts and other Agreements for the Organization.
- Review Monthly Cost Status Reports and advise Management of potential profitability / risks in projects.
- Maintain primary interface with Project Managers and other members of the project team on all project control matters.
- Monitor and evaluate performance of assigned project controls personnel on site.
