• As an active member of the Community Services Team, I volunteered in the charity marathon which attracted more than 1000 students from various schools and universities. Funds generated from the event were used to support a joint charity project between the American University of Sharjah Community Services Team and the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation to help orphans education.
• Hand in Hand : Participated in renovating an orphans home. As part of this long term project, we initially cleaned the home and analysed the condition to enable the Community Services Team at AUS to determine the amount of renovation required. Gradually, every part of the house was renovated alongside the assistance and supervision of a maintenance contractor. The project also included fund raising activities.
