Assists the Resident Engineer with the planning and coordination of activities for the effective management control and reporting of the construction supervision of the projects.
Coordinate and communicate with the team and clients.
Compiling, checking and approving reports.
Monitoring and supervision of site and ensure that the work is done according to design, specification, contract and agreed terms and conditions.
PROJECTS:
i. Widening / Improvement of Road from Mianwal Ranjha to Saida via Qadirabad District Mandi Bahauddin. Length = 16.25 km
ii. Construction of Dual Carriage way from Gujrat to Salam Interchange through Mandi-Bahauddin Package 6 District Mandi-Bahaddin. Length = 11 km
RESPONSIBILITES:
Ensuring that all engineering work is carried out in accordance with specifications, statutory requirements, rules, regulations and other contractual requirements.
Responsible for the completion of all documentation.
Producing Test Plans and reports.
PROJECT DETAILS:
The project included 1 bridge, 26 km asphaltic road, 5.7 km rigid pavement, 124 cause ways, 82 culverts(pipe and slab), retaining and breast walls, irrigation channels and drains.
The cost of project was 4125MN Pkr being financed under UAE Pakistan Assistance Program (UPAP).
RESPONSIBILITES:
Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives;
1. checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
2. ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications;
3. agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project;
4. managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client/architect;
5. liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
6. liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress;
7. day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors;
8. planning the work and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines;
9. overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site;
Teaching Steel Structure, Mechanics of Engineering Materials and Soil Mechanics to B-tech students.
