Summary of the main roles and responsibilities:

• Project Management and Implementation: - responsible for the effective implementation of project activities, monitoring and reporting according to Tdh and donor procedures and guidelines;
• Team management: is responsible for the management of the project team, build the staff capacities, monitor the staff performance, promote teambuilding and proficient communication within the team.
• Technical support: develop programmatic approaches, models of interventions and tools in the field of migration and access to justice as requested by the supervisor - with the support of the CP advisor, legal specialist, A2J regional coordinator, program coordinator, CP/migration regional coordinator;
• Program Design & Development: Contribute to the continuous development of the CP project proposals due to emerging need and rights
• Advocacy and representation: follow and implement the advocacy plan of the Migration and A2J Programs as it decided by the management and actively participate in the national and local A2J and CP forums to maintain Tdh’s position as a credible actor in the migration and A2J sectors.
Communication and visibility: in alignment with the communication plan and the donor’s requirements, contribute to communication efforts, projects, and program visibility

Project management and implementation:
• Develop and maintain project follow up tool, in observation of the PCM toolkit and the PM golden rules.
• Draft and update regularly an action plans in collaboration with the project team and reports on regular basis about the performance of the projects;
• Ensure all project activities are implemented on a timely and quality manner in accordance with Tdh programme standards (project management rules) and in full compliance with all donor requirements as specified in projects contracts.
• Regularly assess the context and Child Protection issues, priorities and needs to adapt and develop the project’s strategy accordingly;
• Regularly monitor the timely implementation of all activities in the project areas based on the M&E system and participate in assessments exercises;
• Regularly monitors and keeps track of project budget expenditure, prepares budget forecasting on a monthly basis and anytime as required by the supervisor and reports periodically to Program Manager on the financial performance of the project;
• Directly supervise the project team’s performance and responds on issues related to project planning, implementation and financial management based on the agreed targets and requirement as specified in project contracts and overall project plans;
• Ensure efficient coordination and communication with the line manager, the program coordinator, the MEAL manager or others to timely communicate concerns related to the project’s performance and proposes solutions and adjustments in line with the scope of the projects and the donor’s regulations.
• Support the team in completing the M&E related tasks and forms based on M&E system designed and overseen by Tdh Q&A department;
• Regularly compiles project reports as per agreed reporting schedule and the format of reporting, based on M&E system and make sure the deadlines are respected always.
• Liaison and collaborate with relevant local authorities and stakeholders.
• Promote the rights of internally displaced/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy.
• Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC
