Responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, and administer energy conservation programs and analyzing current energy usage for developing the district's energy management plans in order to provide proper environmental conditions with cost effective energy utilization and proper usage of natural resources for all facilities of Pirelli Egypt factory site. Develop budgets, set company goals, and meet with other company different strategies.
Develop and implemented overall operation and scheduling appointments of maintenance activities and programs beside develop scope of work for HVAC equipment, industrial Cooling chilled water machineries, compressed air station, Boilers house, Water treatment and desalination plants, hot water pumping station, digital controls, remote metering, firefighting system, steam distribution conservation measures,
Define RISK areas and actions required to eliminate hazards for target of Zero accidents
Hire, train, and mentor other engineers and supporting staff
Direct and coordinate production, operations, quality assurance, testing, or maintenance in industrial plants.
Discuss and lay out project specifications &Make detailed plans to accomplish goals. Beside Review, approve, or modify product designs.
Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts, Negotiate research contracts, Approve expenditures, Review and recommend contracts and Develop cost estimates.
Improve manufacturing processes and advance scientific research.
Coordinate activities of unit with other units or organizations & Confer with higher levels of management
Reporting to both Factory and Engineering Manager as Lead the role of the factory Projects Activities for: plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Beside also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
2. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
3. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
4. Attend, and chair where appropriate, meetings with designers, specialist contractors and other team members.
5. Contribute to the regular Project Report, and attend Project Meetings.
6. Review designers and contractors drawings for completeness of information and compliance with contract requirements (specification, ER, etc).
7. Check ongoing installation for compliance with contract requirements.
8. Propose appropriate specialist contractors, systems and manufacturers for the project.
9. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
10. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Job Description: Reporting to Engineering manager as Lead role in the operation, maintenance, improvement and upgrade of Factory utilities plants. Responsibilities included safe operation, problem identification, troubleshooting, lock out / tag out, and preparation of equipment for preventive maintenance. These responsibilities were applied to the following systems: Water chillers (1- 400 ton water centrifugal; 7 - 380 ton air cooled Reciprocating) All associated auxiliary pumps supporting the water chillers Cooling towers and associated water chemistry 1 High pressure boilers:35, 000lb/hr @ 335 psi saturated One water demineralization plant to cover Boiler water needs. Hot water station 400 m³/hr@180ºC, connection to main boiler house with all associated auxiliary pumps and Pressure Vessel tanks 6 Air compressors with a total capacity of 364 m³/min (4 - centrifugal (115, 110 & two 55 m³/min) and two rotary screw (18 & 10 m³/min) 5 Refrigeration type air dryers capable of delivering air at compressor rated flow with a dew point of less than -3º C. 8 Air handling units (6-48, 000CFM & 2-28, 000 CFM, 24ºC, 50% RH, For area 48, 000m³) Emergency Diesel Generator 800KVA for operation of factory Utilities equipments

Reporting to Department maintenance head as Supervise, implement efficient work program in the daily activity of the overhauling jobs of all facilities/equipment departments to maintain optimum inventory of spare parts for the smooth operation of department machines. Report to Central Workshop Manager any notification for the overhauling of equipment and raise a Work Order/Work Permit for the execution of the job.
