Working as Head of Research and Knowledge Management in DAEP.
Throughout this period I worked on developing Goals, Strategic objectives, Procedures, Manuals, Guidelines and KPI’s.
I also developed work plans and awareness sessions.
Working for Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) as Chief Specialist / Previous Engineering Contracts Acting Manager in Contracts and Purchasing Department.
In addition, member and coordinator in RTA Claims and Disputes Committees.
In the Contracts and Purchasing department, was responsible to give Contractual support to RTA Agencies by proposing updates to RTA's Conditions of Contract, give advice to the RTA managers when handling Contractor's and Consultant's Contractual issues, lead the team when studying / preparing reports on claims. For the Claims and Disputes Committees, was responsible to prepare procedures to handle claims and Disputes in RTA, manage claims and disputes referred to the Committee and follow up on implementing Committee recommendations.
In addition, I worked as Subject Matter Expert in the areas of Project Management, Contracts, Claims and Disputes responsible to give training and Coaching to the RTA senior management and Employee’s.
Working for AL-Shafaar Transporting and Contracting Company as Projects Control Director. I dedicated most of my time to handle a construction project of 12 buildings at ZEN-3
Discovery Gardens. The project value was 418, 000, 000 AED in 18 months. The Project Owner was Nakheel. The Program Manager was Turner International. My responsibility was to supervise the schedule, cost, material engineers and subcontract coordinator in planning, scheduling, cost tracking, claim analysis, contract and subcontracts management
During this period I participated in conducting one day training course for Turner Project
Controls Engineers on the topic "Reviewing Construction Claims."
Full Time: Working for General Dynamics as Projects Control Manager. The project was a USAID project assisting the Government of Egypt with rehabilitating and modernizing the telecommunication system. General Dynamics was contracted to USAID Cairo to provide Engineering and Construction Management Consultancy Services to Telecom Egypt. My roles was to supervise the scheduling engineer to review the submitted schedules by the contractor, review the submitted invoices for Telecom Egypt approval, submit a monthly progress report to TELECOM Egypt that includes summary of the work, major accomplishments and issues, schedules and budget status and assist in solving the claims submitted by the contractor.
Full Time: Working for Washington Group Int. / Contrack Int. as Senior Projects Control Engineer / Manager in Pacer Forge Facility Support project. The Project Consultant was the American Corps of Engineers. The project represents Repair & Minor construction in many Air Force Bases all over Egypt. My responsibility was to supervise the schedule, cost, material engineers and subcontract coordinator in planning, scheduling, cost tracking, contract and subcontracts management. This includes submission of weekly and monthly reports to the Consultant and to our home office in Boise.
Freelancer: Developing Management division for "The Egyptian Engineer for Technical Consultation" office by training personnel through prepared management sessions and preparing templates for all kinds of plans and reports.
Working for K&M engineering and consulting corporation as an Outside Plant CADD Specialist / Management supervisor. My responsibility was to lead the OSP field engineering staff to document exchange boundaries, prepare preliminary junction, primary feeder and secondary distribution system plan drawings, ensure digitizing and preparation of drawings utilizing CADD, prepare a bill of materials to perform OSP works, prepare a cost estimate based on bill of materials and assist TELECOM EGYPT in final inspection. My duties were also to provide training on the use of the CADD system as directed by K&M management, prepare a Just in time “JIT” plan that ensures consumable supplies/materials are adequate to meet work requirements and recommend enhancements/ upgrades to the system.

Working for Campenon Bernard (Metro design office).
Working as a CADD Engineer, responsible for the formwork drawings of line 2 phase 2 of Cairo metro.
This also includes the coordination between the Arrangements Department, Construction Methods Department and the Site Construction.
Freelancer: Performed the project planning and scheduling of a sweets factory for Ministry of
Defense (Total project cost ≈ 12, 000, 000 L.E.)

Morning, responsible for the executing works as site supervision of Salah-Salem residential building in 1995, Narmar School in 1993, El-Omrania residential building story building in
1992, Shobra hospital and Child Home at El-Saida in 1991, Vesture building of Faculty of
Female Gymnastics, Helwan University in 1990.
Evening, responsible for the planning, project controls and also preparing detailed design for some projects as Salah-Salem residential building, Narmar school in Dokki and El-Omrania residential building (designed by the office).
