- Responsible for all procurement activities of the Company.
- Responsible for management of all procurement team members.
- Responsible to meet procurement time schedule according to project time schedule.
- Improve the efficiency of procurement team members and procurement procedures.
- Improve procurement actual cost, annually improvement margin to be settled.
- Working with suppliers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Building strong working relationships with the key suppliers locally and globally.
- Understanding and keeping up with new trends and regulations in the business.
- Dealing with international suppliers, global agreements, innovate new agreements with new suppliers.
- Ensure the treatment of Purchase needs with the purchasing code of ethics, quality and deadlines
- Support the implementation of QHSE Management System as per standards (ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001) while performing his work
1.To review and implement all procurement policies and procedures.
2.To direct and monitor all personnel activities within procurement area including manpower forecasting, staff assignments and performance reviews .
3.To oversee the coordination and development of procurement plans and specification between the Project and Engineering.
4.To manage procurement teams, programs or functions, develop goals and objectives and ensure that staff has an appropriate understanding on the procurement activities.
5.To represent procurement team in meetings with project engineers, suppliers to finalise the technical and commercial aspects of the order.
6.To take leadership of and provide direction to procurement team and manage and ensure resolution of problems.
Managing & organizing material department activities (procurement, logistics & warehouses).
Prioritize tasks & establish schedules to maintain uniform workload among Dept employees.
Make decisions & coordinate all day-to-day office functions.
Supervise & evaluate subordinates in the material Dept.
Monitor orders & contracts for compliance with company policies & procedures.
Establish ISO procedure, forms & process flow chart.
Continually improving the work flow & business process.
Coordinate with other departments (Projects, Engineering & Finance) for problem solving, communication enhancement & business processes improving.
Responsible of pumps, diesel generating sets, ventilation systems, blowers, compressors & gearboxes.
Supplier negotiation, Purchase Order release & follow-up until receiving
Studying & reviewing all technical subjects relating to spare parts, machinery & production lins.
Technical study of machines, production lines upgrading & modifications.
Prepare all purchasing documents ( Quotation Request, Quotation Comparison, Purchase Order, Insurance request & shipping documents )
Purchase follow-up till receiving.
Inspection of two production lines (Tube mill & cut-to-length) in Italy before shipping ( Otto Mills & Rizzato factories )
Communications with international companies regarding any production, maintenance or technical problems
Supplier evaluation & monitoring.
Sourcing new suppliers through Internet.
Conducting ISO internal audit every 6 months.
