A member of the Group Enterprise leadership team, accountable for the HR agenda in a regional business, of diversified industries that include Telecommunication, Managed Services, and Networks communications construction and maintenance, Electromechanical and civil works, Software development, and GIS solutions with over 2000 FTEs on - and offshore serving multi-national customers. Leading several regional cultural and digital transformation programs (Incl. full automation of the HR function in +10 countries) to drive service excellence, investing in a success-based culture, and evolving the organization.
Lead IDG HR transformation to support its expansion strategy and the decentralization project, by developing decentralized structure, formulate HR policies, workflows, and procedures, redesigned jobs, set new performance objectives and key performance indicators. Participated in implementing full workforce assessment, to identifying current capabilities and future potentialities, by participating in supervising the execution of multiple programs, including a leadership psychometric assessment, self-directed search, and Hogan Job-fit assessment. Developed and currently executing a complex & innovative recruiting strategy that supports the business expansion objectives. Created a strategic onboarding process that supports existing and new employees in understanding IDG’s culture shift efforts and strategic objectives. Designed, and administering comprehensive and competitive benefits packages and programs. Manage internal communication during and post-change, work on elevating morals, foster alignment, and motivate employees. Planned and currently executing employees’ development plans and programs to foster engagement and support culture-reshape efforts. Lead & supervise the HR team and all core HR department functions. Coach, mentor and advise the executive team and mid-level management team in varying leadership roles. Implement and provide ongoing system design and support for the HR systems (HRIS-ATS, etc.). Ensure that all HR practices are complying with national legislation and following international standards.
Managed All HR functions in Two major subsidiaries of ALKAN CIT group including HR budget and manpower plan preparations, formulating, and executing recruitment strategy, designing, and implementing Comp and Ben programs, executing learning and development programs, overseeing performance management system. Led the execution of a major downsizing plan including communication, negotiation, and restructuring activities.
Managed Company’s transformation plan by developing and implementing new policies, HR procedures, organization structure, grading, and salary structure; setup capabilities matrix, redefined core values. Led the transition communication and managed all related grievances. Developed CACC’s learning & development policy in full compliance with IATA, airlines, and local civil air authorities’ requirements and regulations. Led IATA training validation project; awarding CACC to be recognized by IATA as an authorized training provider for ULD training program. Managed all other day-to-day HR activities including recruitment, monthly payroll, annual performance appraisal, and employee relations activities.
Managed Company restructuring. Set new policies & working procedures. Redefined job descriptions. Re-evaluated jobs according to new structure, values, and Rebuilt Company salary scale. Redesigned Competencies framework. Managed the daily HR operations over 5 sites across Egypt in addition to Cairo head office. Managed the General Affairs & Administration department.
Re-established Egyptian branch after the sale of Vegas Oil & Gas. Conducted job evaluations using Hay Group methodology. Planned and executed new employee training. Acquired Egyptian government approval of organization chart and employee hiring in collaboration with the Egyptian Petroleum Company (EGPC). Recruited, interviewed, and made offers to candidates. Managed compensation programs. Re-established contracts with service providers under previous company agreement terms. Managed employee separation and conducted exit interviews.

Participated in established new brand Vegas West Obayed after the sale of Vegas producing assets in Egypt.
Redesigned/updated all HR policies, annual budget, and position descriptions to match new company culture and core values.
Redesigned competency framework for sourcing new talents and evaluating the workforce.

As HR Analyst

Developed the base framework to convert the HR department to a fully computerized HRIS application.
Oversaw implementation of HRIS to all Egyptian vendors, including technical and financial evaluations.
Trained all personnel in the use of employee self-service and manager self-service platforms.
Provided training, implementation, and project management for ERP projects, for a broad range of companies in Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon. Performed gap analysis for new projects. Provided software training, implementation, and product support to customers. Implemented and monitored project timelines.
