My Role as Group

My Role as CIO was to implement a real and effective Digital Transformation to the Group and to:
1. Manage the operations of the Group's IT processes in multi-geographical locations with High Availability,
Failover and Disaster Recovery replication and services.
2. Create and implement the IT Strategy & aligning it with overall Business Strategy.
3. Assess Risks and analyze Gaps related to IT and Business continuity.
4. Specify and work with the team to design proper customer project implementations across the Group.
5. Organize the operational team projects, tasks, resources and shift schedules in separate locations.
6. Recruit, evaluate, coach and to provide career planning and employee performance evaluation.
7. Manage the Group's expansion programs in multi-geographical locations.
8. Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT
initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment and management of current and future IT systems
across the organization.
9. Develop and maintain an appropriate IT organizational structure that supports the needs of the business.
10. Establish IT departmental goals, objectives and operating procedures.
11. Coordinate and facilitate consultation with Group directives to define business and systems requirements for
new technology implementations and Innovative Solutions.
12. Develop, track and control the information technology annual operating and capital budgets.
13. Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through monitoring of service level agreements with end users and
monitoring of IT systems performance (KPIs)
14. Establish lines of control for current and proposed Information Systems.
15. Define and communicate corporate plans, policies and standards for the organization for acquiring,
implementing and operating IT systems.
16. Be Guardian of company Data. Propose and implement Security measures to protect from internal and
external threats.
17. Negotiate and maintain responsibility for managing various IT related Vendors and Contracts.
18. Study & Introduce Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Cognitive Automation wherever is possible.
