Responsibilities
 Account manager for more than 60 Clients across categories and industries.
 Leading Category management projects in more than 7markets with Top Retailers (Carrefour, Spinneys, …)
and Manufacturers (P&G, PepsiCo, Mondelez, Beiersdorf, Barilla…)
 Responsible for Client Deliveries in KSA, UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and North Africa
 Managing Sales Business Development in UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and North Africa
 Responsible for implementing Category Management champion projects in Carrefour, Sharjah Coop,
Spinneys, Union Coop (in Categories like Pasta, Biscuits, Air care, Snacks, Sauces, Beverages, Cheese…)
 Actively training, coaching and supporting Category Management functions and Trade Marketing teams on
Catman concepts and Nielsen product range.
 Driving a high level of interaction between retailers and manufacturers to create opportunities for greater sellthrough
and market share gains.
 Actively leading, mentoring, and developing the Category Managers and Trade Marketing teams, inspiring
them to take on initiatives, execute results, and make an impact
 Managing and developing best in class merchandising standards and planograms leveraging Consumer and
Shopper Insights
 Providing Category Management expertise and recommendations to relevant functions and supporting in the
creation of the overall final visual layout of the category
 Developing comprehensive Optimized Assortment Strategies in line with client objectives and growth
opportunities identified at category level using advanced analytics
 Designing Category Planograms across all channels (Modern Trade, Traditional and Lower Trade, Pharmacy
& e-commerce)
 Designing and executing customer-specific category, store and department re-invention projects.
 Ensuring the consistency of the category and brand plans across functions at all times and Gain agreement at
all stages of project development
 Leveraging relevant insights (industry trends, category, brand, channel, Route to Market, shopper, consumer
and account) to develop a strategic agenda that drives focus and results behind our Clients strategic priorities
 Working with international company-wide merchandising and business client partners to develop synergies
and develop Client relationships
 Responsible for the development, design and deployment of Nielsen proprietary tools
Achievements
 Biggest Nielsen growth globally : 31% growth in AP sales revenue in 2015 vs 2014
 Retailers business growth up by 100% in sales revenue vs 2014
 Tripled number of clients base from 20 to more than 60 in 2015 vs 2014
