Retail Experience
I started working for N & N Foodmart Inc. while I was in college. I started from the bottom, and I am the store manager / Partner at this time. This job allowed me to enhance my people's skills. Also it's giving me the opportunity to accomplish tasks in a team-based frame. My actual responsibilities include supervising a small group of people (6-15), preparing payroll, dealing with sales representatives, signing new business deals, setting prices and implementing marketing strategies to achieve target sales numbers. Also I manage the financial side of the business (balancing the business bank accounts, bank deposits, negotiating new loans and contract terms) . I also routinely explore new products (via trade shows, research ) for sales to attract more customers. Besides, I manage the store inventory (Groceries, beverages, and fuel.); I decide on the proper inventory level based on several factors ( time of the year, demand) . In addition, I have to allocate budgets for each segment of the business, set target sales and positively cope with the new economic changes affecting the retail industry
