• My current role is to supervise the current Program for 24 construction & infrastructure Projects (for fiscal year 2016/2017).
• Study and review the Project Proposals submitted by the outreach team.
• Ensure that Tendering process is moving fairly /participate in TBE and /contract award and awarding.
• Ensure that Engineering dept. has reviewed Contractors DWGs and share it with Local community.
• Review & Share projects’ Budget Projections on weekly basis.
• Review project schedule, progress and execution works matches planned and importantly within budget
• Lead Projects’ monthly meeting with engineering department /Risk analysis and KPIs.
• Site visits and Technical audits for all projects at least (1 audit per project)
• Review and approve the contractors’ submittals/invoices/and snag lists.
• Review and approve POs submitted by contractor.
Submit and a Monthly and weekly reports which match with the HQ and donors expectations
Supervise a project dedicated team of multidiscipline QC Engineers and Inspectors (Materials -Mechanical-Welding-Civil-Electrical-Instrumentation & GRE) in performing inspections and testing, compiling records and reporting with regard to all inspections for an EMC contract at PDO South Oman. Marmul\Harweel\Birba, this includes but not limited to :
•Responsible for the establishment of a fully documented project quality system in line with the Contract requirements and ISO 9001:2008 covering Installation and Pre-/Commissioning, Evaluate NCR’s and maintains Project NCR Register / log, Monitor and analyze project's Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
•Maintain a project quality audit schedule to ensure effectiveness of the project quality system & Report the Project Quality Audit Results to QAQC manager /PM/key management through preparing audit plan, notification, preparing audit check lists, leading or participating in quality audits for 3 clusters, preparing audit reports and approve Corrective Actions, preventive actions and close-out.
•Ensure the effective implementation of the CQP (Contract Quality Plan Ensure that work is carried out fully in accordance with the Contract quality plan and that the approved PDO procedures /ITPs/MSs/DEPs/PDO SPs laid down in the Project Quality Plan to achieve these standards are followed.
•To assist in the qualification, assessment and review of sub-contractors and suppliers by spot/schedule audit, Prepare and evaluate construction subcontractor QA requirement, questionnaire or performance reviews in order to maintain the Approved Suppliers / Sub- Contractors Lists
•Attend all progress & QA\QC coordination Meetings with Client/ PDO or sub -contractors
1.Supervision for The contractor’s implementation of quality control procedures and plans for providing the more efficient onsite construction work.
2.Reviews and approves modified drawings, markups & As builds, test packs, inspections, test plans and quality control plans from contractors. identifies, analyzes and resolves problems and issues with quality assurance and control for onshore site construction.
3.Plans and coordinates QA/QC activities, making certain of quality control of the work in accordance to contract requirements.
4.Supervise the activities of the quality service providers and inspectors to ensure diligent performance. reviews and approves the contractors' quality documentation, and implements contractor audits as well.
5.Approve audit plans & schedules, preparing audit check lists, leading or participating in quality audits, preparing audit reports and approve Corrective Actions, preventive actions and close-out.
6.Attend all QA\QC coordination Meetings with Vendors/ clients or contractors
worked as Vendor/on site inspector for several projects such as:
1.Ma’aden project (KSA)-as a vendor inspector for mechanical fabrication at Inma steel-¬jubail, 4 MT
2.Qatalum project ( vendor inspector for SNC-Lavalin Qatar), service area and potroom st. st .at Zamil steel -dammam2.6M T
3.Kayan Petrochemical complex project-(KSA) as a vendor inspector for mechanical fabrications -Olyan descon-jubailAll inspection assignments includes :
- material certificates & Verification of P.O requirements - visual and dimensional inspection for scrubbers, API tanks, pressure vessels, fit up and fabrication & assembly for components
- witnessing for pneumatic testing & hydrostatic, vacuum testing Pressure equ. According to Pr.Spec..
-coating inspection. -issuance of NCRs in case of nonconformity, follow up the CAR, suggest the PA, close out .
Assessing and monitoring company’s quality management systems against ISO 9001:2000 and ensuring the quality management system suitability, adequacy and effectiveness, review of quality plans, test packs, NDE & other quality related procedures and documents.
•Planning audit schedules, notifying auditee, preparing audit check lists, leading or participating in quality audits, preparing audit reports and following up Corrective Actions, preventive actions and close-out.
Reporting to Tech. Director to determine a quality system’s adequacy and deficiencies. Analyzes all elements of a quality system and judges its degree of adherence to the criteria of industrial management system .
•Identify Material sources at warehouses And Conduct material tests (chemical & PMI ) (stainless steels, alloy steel)and Ensure conformity with MTCs, Specification & Standards.
•Worked during units’ shutdown for static equipment’s such as pressure vessels, Columns, heat exchangers
•Inspection of welding and erection activities for Structural & Piping according to ASME B31.1& Workmanship As per Inspection Test plan for Conformance and maintain records.
•Conducted fit up inspection on pipe, critical installations in accordance with the approved WPS/PQR for stationary equipments.
