Project: National Water Company Al Haer Waste Water Conveyor Project
-11.8 KM- Tunneling using Double Shield TBM. 3.5 meter diameter segment lining.
-1.7 KM- DN3000 HDPE and RC Pipe trench type installation.
- Vortex and Manhole shaft construction.
Responsibilities:
Technical engineer
- Assist RE in review of contractor’s structural design and drawing submittals.
- Assist PM and RE in civil works issues, submittals and progress reports (in primavera).
- Assist document controller in managing the distribution of submittals and other documents pertaining but not limited to technical or engineering matters.
-Coordinates with Contractor regarding technical matters/issues.
QA/QC Engineer
-Review Method Statement, QCP and ITP submittals.
-Monitor and ensures rings segment erection, installation and repair inside and outside the tunnel, reinforced concrete and HDPE pipes installation and HDPE lining extrusion welding and HDPE pipe butt fusion welding are in compliance with the Project Quality Control Plan, Method Statements and Safety Procedures.
-Monitor and ensure quality management system in Precast Segments Factory are in compliance with the Clients Policies, Project Quality Control Plan, Method Statements and Safety Procedures.
-Provides recommendations for improvement in the quality of precast segments and production procedures and how to implement them to achieve high quality standards.
-Attend and witness material testing and accept material such as precast segment, DN3000 RC and HDPE pipes 3000mm prior to site delivery.
- Identify, open and close NCR.
-Assist Site Engineers in structural and quality control issues for civil works.
CAD
-Provide shop drawings and 3d models and rendering as requested by the Client and Resident/Site Engineers.
-Review and check softcopy submittals of structural analysis and design and shop drawings.
Project:
• Sewage Treatment Plant-Al Haer Phase 1 Riyadh KSA
Construction of 640, 000 cubic meter per day(peak flow) Sewage Treatment Plant main structures, internal roads, fences and support facilities such as four storey administration building, workshops, mosque, main electrical, substations and generator building.
Responsibilities
-Monitor and ensure all civil works are in compliance with the Clients Policies, Project Quality Control Plan, Method Statements and Safety Procedures.
-Provides recommendations for improvement in methods, procedures and quality of works and how to implement them to achieve high-quality standards.
-Assist Senior Civil Engineer in the review of structural calculation submittals.
-Review and update the contractor's progress.
-Oversee the work of site inspectors, material engineer and surveyors throughout the entire project.
-Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants.
-Identify and resolve design and development problems.
-Assist in managing change, as the client change their mind about the design, and ensuring relevant parties are notified of changes in the project.
-Review and compiles daily reports.
-Review structural and architectural drawings, method statements, ITP and quality control plans submittals.
-Prepare alternative architectural and civil design proposal to Client.
