During my studies in Translation at the Lebanese International University, I developed strong multilingual and analytical skills through a wide range of academic and practical activities. I gained proficiency in Arabic, English, and French translation, with additional knowledge of Spanish, working on various text types including legal, medical, economic, and humanitarian content. I completed multiple translation projects and exams that required accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and the application of professional translation strategies such as Vinay and Darbelnet techniques. Throughout my academic journey, I enhanced my research and terminology management skills, particularly in specialized fields such as UN and OCHA texts, as well as technical and scientific translation. I also practiced simultaneous interpretation and improved my ability to work under time pressure while maintaining quality. In addition, I developed strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, ensuring clarity and coherence in all target texts. Beyond coursework, I actively worked on improving my language fluency and communication skills, and I explored freelance translation opportunities and platforms. These experiences helped me build a solid foundation for a professional career in translation and equipped me with the discipline, attention to detail, and adaptability required in the field.
