1. Repair and maintain the computer-controlled and robotic devices used with industrial and commercial facilities.
2. Have a knowledge of electronics, mechanical and computers.
3. Perform routine diagnostic checks on automated systems, monitor automated system, isolate problems and perform repairs.
4. Troubleshoot the issue and determine if the problem is mechanical, electrical or from the computer system controlling process.
5. Design and service control systems ranging from electromechanical devices and system to high robotics and PLCs.
6. Repair or replace any necessary components, such as a sensor or electrical wiring.
7. Configure, test and troubleshoot PLC/PC based control system including associated components, and integrated production lines composed of multiple machines.
8. Electrical component design, testing and commissioning of control system, control panels, and associated automated equipment.
9. Prepare detailed electrical system BOM’s, documents of PLC architecture, electrical schematics, and panel layouts.
10. Working knowledge of machine control and signal conditioning, field devices, sensor and variable frequency drives.
11. Install, troubleshoot and calibrate process instruments that measure temperature, pressure, flow and level.
12. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
13. Diagnose malfunctioning system, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
14. Knows how to interpret and read diagrams, following the diagram given by the client.
15. Motor control and power installation start, stop and forward, reverse and star, delta connection.
16. Troubleshooting the electrical interlocking problems in the control panel board.
17. Knows and insures the company client standards and project procedures.
18. Following the diagram given by the client.
19. Commissioning test of electrical device. Follow the test procedures given by the supervisor and the client.
