As a team member of Korea Group and Corporate Commercial department, my roles include, but not limited to:
• Research legislation via online legal database, specifically focusing on corporate & commercial, construction & engineering and dispute resolution practice areas
• Draft legal correspondence to the client and prepared case briefs for litigation matters
• Become first point of contact for Korean clients seeking legal advice and liaised with fee earners and business services staff within the firm to address clients’ inquiries precisely
• Translate Al Tamimi & Company’s monthly legal update into Korean and distributed the translated article to clients, which mainly include Korean government entities, major Korean financial institutions and construction companies having a presence in the UAE
• Respond to RFPs and produced proposal draft for fee earners’ review and traced down status of proposal submission in coordination with the firm’s marketing team
• Plan client seminars on regional legislation update dedicated for Korean clients in the region and prepared and circulated invitation in English and Korean
• Manage clients’ contact details and updated them accordingly via email and telephone
• Obtain knowhow to manage time exceptionally and prioritise tasks under tight deadlines and pressure
