• Assist with developing HR standards, requirements, policies and procedures that meet the needs of the company
• Assist relevant departments with all administrative matters related to payroll, benefits, record-keeping
• Assist with the implementation of a new employee orientation program
• Assist with implementing guidelines for employee promotions and career paths and grading scale
• Assist with the development of talent management and succession planning in accordance with the company’s strategic objectives
• Assist with managing the company’s appraisal and bonus systems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest news in the human development space and assist the Human Resources team to develop company practices accordingly
• Contribute to developing an effective culture at Nesma, upholding company values and staff morale
• Supervise the functions of recruitment; search for and collect applications of potential candidates for company employment.
• Maintain and develop a solid application database and classify the applications to ensure easy reference and accessibility.
• Compile and maintain a database for local recruitment advertising agencies and online sites that provide recruitment services.
• Ensure a proper screening and short listing of applicants and conducting the first interviews before referring to the HR Manager.
• Supervise and ensure the timely preparation of the letter of appointment, Job offer & contract for new hires.
• Build candidate pipelines for current & future staffing needs.
• Coordinate with overseas recruiting agencies & provide them by required documentation to finalize the employment procedures for international employees.
• Ensure completion of the new hiring files, creating employee number through Oracle.
• Prepare the weekly, monthly, & yearly recruitment reports.
• Ability to implement and advise on HR policies and procedures.
• Proven ability in the administrative components of HR such as HR Letters, staff lists, employee files
• Demonstrated experience in resolving queries regarding policies, benefits, pay slips, annual and sick leave
• Ability to produce high-impact presentations tailored to ensure effective communication with a diverse range of individuals and multicultural groups.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, with ability to facilitate the logistics of multiple simultaneous training programs.
• Capable of developing formal and informal training programs to meet specific corporate needs.
• Knowledge of Labor Law and HR practices.
• Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
• Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team
• Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, assisting in shortlisting, issuing employment contracts etc.
• Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
• Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events etc. and maintain the team’s agenda
• Coordinate training sessions and seminars
