 Planning & enhancing the current data network and system to support business requirements

Achievments :
 Complete a technical assessment of STC data network and a build a three years road map to enhance the services
 Complete the documentation of the department policies and procedures and started the implementation of these procesesses using an auomation workflow engine provided by File Net systems.
 Provide a complete consultation study to DNS GM to enhance helpdesk services
 In charge of enhancing forecasting process for DNS data network and services which will impact the capital investments.
 Participating in different consultation committees within STC like:
o IT Pricing Committee
o IT Strategic Planning Committee
o IT Organization Changing Committee
o STC Forward Initiative Department representative in IT Forward Committee
o Shared Services Committee

- Special Communications Project: Initiating & evaluating a special communications study to inforce the comms backbone using the VSAT & Frame Relay technology as a back-up network.

- Y2K Project : I was selected to be a project manager of upgrading all PBX’s in the central & Eastern Regions and all related Y2K issues with STC.
- NCB main coordinator for SMS project under the supervision of E-Commerce Project Manager.
