• Leads Etisalat IT Operations Planning team, the team core function is to manage and monitor IT services capacity, growth and performance; projects delivery and implementations.
• Manage the corporate IT infrastructure capacity plans, which includes Storage, Servers, Network devices and IT security applications and appliances.
• Manage Etisalat IT Datacenters capacity (Space, Power and Cooling)
• Strategic projects implementation, solution evaluation, selection, implementation and monitoring service performance and capacity after in production.
• Work closely and coordinate with business unites, IT PMO and vendors.
• Evaluate and review IT security policies and guidelines.
• Participate in high profile RFPs’ evaluation committees, technical and financial evaluations and negotiations.
• Evaluate latest IT Infrastructure technologies.
• Provide high profile reports to IT management showing growth trends, available Infrastructure Capacity and strategic projects implementation status.
• Budget management, OPEX and CAPEX; Cost optimization.
• Assess and Evaluate Corporate services performance.
• Develop and build OLA and SLA with the internal and external parties.

Manage the corporate IT infrastructure capacity plans, which includes Storage, Servers, Network devices and IT security applications and appliances.
Develop and Manage CIT configuration & change management team, follow-up on the team members, assign tasks, and ensure that CIT standard policies and procedures are implemented.
Ensure that approved changes are implemented efficiently, cost-effectively and with minimal risk to the existing and to the new IT infrastructure.
Develop new change processes for applications release, services provisioning and infrastructure components provisioning.
Follow up and coordinate with business users and CIT project managers in order to ensure smooth project implementation as per the corporate standards and policies.
Work closely with IT Security team to ensure that new projects are implemented as per Etisalat’s corporate security policies.
Evaluate and review IT security policies and guidelines.
Participate in high profile RFPs’ evaluation committees, technical and financial discussions and negotiations.
Develop a capacity plans to manage Etisalat's infrastructure capacity.
Evaluate and study the latest IT Infrastructure technologies.

Manage IT infrastructure components and resources by ensuring that IT Infrastructure resources will meet the company’s objectives and business requirements; plan for datacenter expansions, infrastructure components provisioning and maintenance.
IT Infrastructure sizing and capacity planning for production systems by monitoring resources utilization, setting plans for upgrades and for new projects, enterprise storage capacity planning and monitoring.
Systems and services availability, develop availability policies and operational level agreements with service owners, review technical solutions design to ensure business availability requirements; report availability KPIs to the top management.
Systems performance monitoring and sizing, investigate systems & services performance issues, identifying bottlenecks, provide recommendations and set plans to avoid or solve any performance issue.
Coordinate with IT Project Managers and Projects Portfolio team for all related IT infrastructure projects, study business requirements, negotiations with the vendors to ensure smooth project implementation.
Coordinate with procurement team in order to satisfy project requirements, arranging for HW/SW delivery and installation.
Participate with technical and financial evaluation committees.

Manage, implement, maintain and operate Microsoft products including MS Exchange, ISA, AD, SQL, infrastructure services.
Storage administration, enterprise storage monitoring, storage provisioning and support, provide performance reports and perform upgrades as well.
Manage and support HP-UX servers.
Perform Systems & Applications Service Management tasks such as fault management, performance management, configuration management, Security management, inventory and reporting.
Manage the company network and security infrastructure.
Provide second and third tier support for all system related issues & problems.
Backup operation administration, set backup policies, perform regular backup and restore operation.
Manage datacenters, provision IT infrastructure components.
Managing and administrating disaster recovery datacenter.
