KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage all technical and financial aspects of outsourced maintenance contracts of public transport fleet in 4 bus depots.
• Maintain and administer the reception offices of all the 5 bus depots for public transportation in the Dubai emirate.
• Carry out thorough quality inspection of the buses, both after entry into the maintenance workshops as well as at the time of exit to ensure that proper maintenance procedures are followed.
• Plan and conduct periodic maintenance audit of the maintenance contractors to check and verify whether laid down procedures are being followed by them.
• Manage the entire bus registration process for the public transport fleet; this includes conducting annual renewal tests, payment of fines, in addition to insurance and issuance of vehicles registration in coordination with the concerned departments
• Arrange insurance coverage of the public transport buses that includes all financial and technical terms and conditions, and ensure accident repairs are performed to the required quality standards and within the stipulated time periods in accordance to the contract and SLA terms.
• Perform regular audits of the accident repair workshops to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure issuance of non-conformity certificates for the buses, which are due for cancellation, as per laid down procedures.
• Perform pre-delivery inspection and tests of newly purchased vehicles to check their road worthiness and ensure that they are free from defects.
• Ensure timely payment of traffic fines for public transport buses as per the prevalent rules and regulations in coordination with the relevant local authorities.
• Deploy breakdown vehicles to bus breakdown sites and ensure that defective buses are removed from the breakdown location within quick time.
• Ensure that the reception offices and outsourced maintenance workshops strictly comply with QHSE policies and procedures
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversaw the operation and maintenance of the asset and information management system centre at the parks and recreational facilities division.
• Regularly coordinated with the technical advisors of the division to formulate and establish new asset management procedures and practices.
• Updated the asset and information management system with the latest asset mapping survey data on ongoing basis.
• Established a data centre to facilitate effective planning and analysis for development of irrigation systems and networks.
• Developed and implemented procedures and mechanisms for updation of data so that up to date information was available on an ongoing basis.
• Developed plans for launching and implementing asset and information management system across the division and planned training of all stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Planned and executed large scale maintenance projects using MS Project, ensured pre-defined completion times were met and cost maintained well within budgets.
• Developed and executed outage programs for machines and equipment in the desalination plants and machinery; maintained checklist and ensured safety procedures were followed, assessed scope of work, allocated sources, estimated workloads and costs.
• Monitored costs and prepared project cost reports, reviewed project spends and highlighted variances.
• Tracked maintenance department performance through KPIs, identified bottlenecks and took corrective actions, prepared and submitted reports to management.
• Developed and supervised deployment of preventive maintenance plans, updated status in MS project to facilitate real time tracking by top management.
• Generated post outage analysis reports after project completion, highlighted root-causes and recommended preventive measures.
• Participated in preparation of the annual maintenance budge in line with the maintenance plan.
• Ensure all spare parts and consumables required for carrying out maintenance tasks were readily available though timely coordination with supply department, warehouse, external vendors and suppliers.
• Prepared work orders compliance, time confirmation and cost reports; supervised the work orders management system to prioritize and complete work orders.
• Identified and assessed supplier and contractors, recommended on-boarding based on their ability to meet company requirements.
• Negotiated, finalized and administered long term service contracts and ensured contractual terms and conditions were met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervised the maintenance team comprising plant supervisors, team leaders and technicians, allocated work, monitored task execution to ensure it was completed satisfactorily.
• Prepared comprehensive plant maintenance plan and assigned adequate resources that included skilled technicians, tools, spare-parts and consumables to ensure maintenance activities were carried out smoothly.
• Ensured timely calibration, maintenance and overhauling of field instruments to ensure accuracy and consistency in readings.
• Carried out process troubleshooting and rectified instrument faults.
• Responsible for maintenance of ABB gas and steam turbine instruments, control systems and human machine interfaces.
• Oversaw maintenance of liquid fuel storage tank, gas skid and air-compressor house.
• Actively participated in the commissioning of new expansion projects in the power plan and ensured in-time and within budget completion.
