- Lead and manage activities under IT department for all of QNB Kuwait branches in close coordination with Group IT.

My job duties include:
-I am the only on site IT staff for QNB Kuwait and therefore take on a large variety of roles.
-Main point of contact with major project to expand the number of branches QNB has in Kuwait for all IT issues, and many Administrative issues.
-Ensure all workstations and servers under my supervision are up to date with the most recent patches.
-Ensure minimal internal, external, and central bank audit finding, and resolve any findings reported.
-Oversaw all local IT issues while coordinating with head office while expanding our local prescence to almost triple the staff, infrastructure, and branches.
-Assist in providing comprehensive and cost effective solutuion to user requirements.
-Assist with the evaluation of the design of new systems and their appropriatness or compatibility with other operational applications.
-First level support for all IT issues in QNB Kuwait.
-Ensure that implementation/enhancements are carried out in time on time and budget and that they meet with security and quality standards.
-Responsible for coordinating implementation/maintenance of IT channels used for regulatory reporting.
-Assist with the implementation of changes to operational procedures, processes and hardware.

My job duties include:
-Providing auditors with necessary materials.
-Daily tasks such as uploading Cinet files, making sure backups are running properly and making sure the banks connection to Kassip is established.
-Assist in drafting change request and RAFs (Requirement Analysis Form) for necessary software changes, and following up through the different stages to be sure it is done efficiently.
-Troubleshoot software/hardware issues raised by users of all systems.
-Assure uninterrupted service of all essential systems bank wide.

I am also acting as System Security Administrator. My responsibilities include:
-Granting / disabling access to bank systems after gaining the required approvals.
-Ensuring the bank security policy is being practised and enforced.
-Review security logs of essential core banking applications on a daily basis.

My pre-opening duties included writing SOPs for my department, interviewing and selecting team members, training team members, and making sure the department was operational by the opening date of the hotel.
Also, due to my IT background, I was chosen to develop an online training and testing web site for a specific program within the hotel. This project was completed by myself using Moodle LMS. The training consists of 600 questions spread between 24 quizzes. After completion of a quiz, the site will generate a printable certificate, and notify management.

My duties as GSA included entering data on the computer, receiving and handling phone calls and other office communication, handling cash, checking guests in and out, and resolving a wide variety of guest issues.
