Barbeque Nation is one of the fastest growing restaurant chains in India - 37 outlets in 18 locations in only seven years. Having presence across major two tier cities as well. Another 35 stores are planned by 2016 with international locations. All outlets are company owned clocking 350 cr of annual turnover.
Regional Manager (West)

As Regional Manager for the West market, I headed twelve units of Barbeque Nation spanning across Western India. I managed a business of 125 cr annual turnover. The Cluster manager and regional functional head form my direct reporting team.
My responsibilities include:

• Guest Experience: Responsible for positive guest experience through outstanding quality of service and follow through, prompt response and attention to detail with great quality of food and offerings. As a region we are on top on the Guest Satisfaction Index- that stands out to be a fool proof tool the company is using for a decade now. Achieved a 90% GSI bench mark for the region on this.
• Sales/Mrkt & Promotional Activities: Successfully leading the Team in consistently delivering volume above plans and target. Handling Planning, targeting, assigning and monitoring of sales targets in achieving Sales Growth and New Stores Sales Building. Catchment analysis and ATL BTL activities being driven vigorously. Sales growth observed at 22% with cover growth at 12% followed by various marketing activies and brand building.
• Strategic Planning & Business Development: Handling the entire spectrum of business operations, encompassing conceptualizing, planning, implementing and monitoring of winning strategies and market plans in order to drive sales growth & business development; market analysis for identification and development of fresh consumer segments and setting up new branches for expansion of business activities.
• Executional Excellence: Building synergy and consistency in functional departments to ensure smooth functioning and timely completion of tasks and enabling sufficient support of the Business Managers.
• Commissary and Menu planning: In total command of commissary in terms of SOPs, recipe costing and consistency with utmost hygiene. Regularly creating innovate offering and festive menus.
• Optimal Resource Allocation and Profitability: in Restaurants to see that every single unit contributes to the Organization’s bottom line. Guiding, motivating and driving individual market teams in achieving set goals.

Manager Operations/Training, Dodsal Enterprises Pvt Ltd (April onwards)

As Operations Manager for the west market, I head twenty units of Pizza Huts including KFC’s, spanning across Mumbai, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, of Dodsal Enterprise. Over all heading profit center units with an annual turnover of Rupees 50 crores.

• Designated as HOD for training function for entire franchisee unit coordinating activities for 90 outlets
• Enrolling the highest level of standards and driving operation excellence.
• Budgeting forecasting and analysis for sales and profitability of the outlets. Coordinating with respective area managers and store team to ensure the goals are met and achieved.
• Close coordination and reporting of support functions in ensuring their deliverables and support at highest capacity.
• Responsible for customer satisfaction, people development and building sales and profitability
• Focus on following highest level of customer service and product quality and abiding with SOPs at peak level.
• Formulating business strategies and tools in order to ensure that the goals are achieved.
• Close coordination with franchiser (Yum restaurants) for new product development and building strategic tools
• Downloading the process in all units and calibrating execution
• Responsible for external audits, mystery checks and other process calibration and measurements
