• Leading the Planning and Cost control team
• Direct all cost control functions, including cost forecasting, cost control, change management, and cost analysis
• Interface with other project team members, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Quality, Interface, and Project Management

* Prepare the integrated level III project master schedule aligned with BP WBS and schedule development standards.
* Prepare progress S-Curves for engineering and procurement.
* Perform risk analysis of project level III schedule to identify risks and recommend appropriate mitigation actions.
* Perform what-if analysis to identify possible future delays and recommend mitigation actions as early as possible and to recommend cost reducing solutions when possible.
* Coordinate and finalize interface schedule with other contractors and integrate the schedule within Petrofac’s schedule.
* Coordinate with subcontractor and review of all subcontractor documents including level IV construction schedules, rules of credit, project control plan and construction progress S-curves.
* Review vendor baseline and updated schedules and monthly progress reports and report any anomalies.
* Monthly update of the detailed schedule to forecast and analyze project completion and float trends to provide management with necessary information on any delays compromising the project completion.
* Analyze progress variance, including critical path progress and out of sequence activities to provide management with a transparent status of the project.

Worked on several projects, the latest being the Khazzan Gas Central Processing Facilities Project as the lead Planning Engineer. Responsibilities include:
* Prepare the integrated level III project master schedule aligned with BP WBS and schedule development standards.

Worked on planning of several projects and proposals with a variety in magnitudes and locations for clients including QP, KOC, Sonatrach, Saudi Aramco and various others.

Responsibilities include:
* Developing summary level schedules in line with proposal execution philosophy.
* Developing detailed and resource loaded schedules on Primavera P6.
* Preparing project controls procedures and manpower mobilization histograms.
* Identifying projects current & potential risks & highlighting all risks alongside potential resolutions to project manager based on risk criticality.
* Developing, setting up, and maintaining TDR and PTR systems (on in-house softwares) for projects.
* Preparing risk register, Producing 30 & 90 days look ahead schedules for the early stages of projects.
* Producing weekly, monthly & quarterly reports and presentations.

Worked on the onshore construction site of Kashagan EP, Kazakhstan for AGIP KCO.

Responsibilities included:
* Construction supervision of the mechanical contractor and ensured that all activities were carried out using the proper and safe procedures.
* Focal point for several interdisciplinary activities running between different contractors & organized and lead periodic walkdowns on construction site between different contractors.
* Carried out punch listing for the piping test packages on site.
* Supervised of pressure tests on site.
* Carryied out reinstatement of test packages on site.

Worked on the design of ASAB Full Field Development Project, a multibillion USD project for ADCO.

Responsibilities included:
* Preparation of valves and special items datasheets.
* Directly involved in valve selection.
* Produced several calculation templates including piping wall thickness calculations, bolt length calculations and spectacle blind thickness calculations under ASME standards. These templates were later standardized for use in other projects accross the company.
* Preparation of inquiry and purchase requisitions.
* Review of valve vendors documents and drawings.
