Responsibilities and Accountabilities: - Execution of electrical activities in a safe manner and in compliance with agreed schedule and legislation.
- Planning and execution of all electrical related maintenance to ensure availability targets are achieved.
- Complete Permit To Work (PTW) which include tool box talk record requirement
- Initiate and develop specific procedures, work instructions, work plans, inspection and testing schedules within Management Maintenance System (MMS) and ensures compliance by the subordinates.
- Supervise work done by the contractors and their respect of time scheduling
- Report and advice of any abnormal or potential failure of equipment that could lead to unsafe condition
- Establish system maintenance spare parts requirements
- Report daily activities, provide input to safety meeting, and report any defects or deviation to line management. Completing and submitting of reports and
documentation to the required standards and at the relevant frequency.
- Manage the Electrical Protective system maintenance, modification and documentation activities cost effectively, whilst maintaining the highest level of HSE performance and reliability within approved budget and availability.
- Assist Production Dept. in analyzing production well fault and regarding ESP
Equipment performance.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Directly responsible for the operation and maintenance of Fidda, Hakim and Dahab oil field electrical system.
- Performs troubleshooting and repair of various types of electrical equipment.
- Involve in the installation, testing and commissioning of plant equipment.
- Enforce MMS (Management Maintenance System) system which includes routine and non-routine jobs.
- Review all contract proposals and bidding, materials purchases, work field
changes notice and follow up active jobs.
- Issue regular recommendation on the procurements of spare parts, special tools and equipment required for the work.
- Monitor, check, verify all the jobs being performed by contractors
- Served as SITE ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR.
- Assist in updating and/or formulating P&ID, electrical drawings and diagrams according to international standards.
- Assist production department in analysing oil/water production well fault.
- Provide assistance to power plant staff with regard to power generation and distribution networks, highline equipment, mcc, transformers, breakers and substations.
- Ensure manpower availability
- Attend supervisory meeting that is required and report directly to group supervisor
- Issue reports on the maintenance monthly activities, analysis of any major defects, inspections and major overhauls
- Analyzed root caused problem and recommend fault troubleshooting solution for optimum equipment performance.
- Engaged in the installation of Submersible Electrical Pumps (ESP) for oil and water production, this includes controller calibration, run down monitoring; pump rotation testing, well proving and production coordination.
- Directly involve in local employees hands-on training program which covers major aspect of electrical operation and maintenance of plant
- Review safety policy and develop procedures and strategies to improve safety culture among employees.
- Ensure that safety guidelines is applied during and while the job is on progress. PTW (permit to work and toolbox certificate) must be at hand.
