In my current position I am responsible for the Operations of Emerson Network Power: Sub Sahara Africa (SSA).
My areas of responsibility includes:
1: Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical and Industrial Engineering - design of local configured products and adaptations
2: Purchasing and Planning: Forecasting, Planning, Procurement and Purchasing
3: Logistics: Warehousing, Goods Receipt, Dispatch, Air-, Sea- and Road Freight, local and international.
4: Order Fulfillment Center: Loading customer orders, status feedback, Invoicing and reporting.
5: Production: Prep, assembly, test, inspect and crating.
Production Engineering and Lean
6: Health and safety: Delegated 16.2.
7: Facilities: building new facility and maintaining an operational world class environment.
I have 7 direct report managers and a staff compliment of 80.
Meeting and exceeding the sales target in my responsibility. In my role I'm also the custodian for Cost reduction, continues Improvement and Perfect Execution.
