PLANNING & SCHEDULING
Preparing construction project schedules baselines and updates
Selecting techniques and logical sequence of activities in accordance with project scope of work
Determining logistics for optimum utilization of resources
Ensures that suitable contractual provisions are made in all contracts and subcontracts to provide appropriate planning and scheduling data, information and documentation.
Prepares and/or ensures that the planning and scheduling documents such as, master schedules, progress reports, “S” curves and Bar Charts etc. are prepared properly and in accordance with contractual time schedules and frequencies by Subcontractors.
Identifies and reviews regularly the critical and sub-critical activities and their impact on the project schedules.
Verifies critical path and interfaces between design/ engineering/ procurement / execution
Measures, updates and reports the progress of the Contractor and subcontractors and ensure that reports accurately reflect the actual performance and productivity.
Reviews the Weekly and Monthly Reports submitted by Subcontractors.
Prepares cash flow, charts and resources requirements histograms
Analyses and identifies areas of concern, work progress trends for potential problems, examines implications of such problems.
Reviewed and adjusted schedules and plans as required ensuring completion of projects on time.
Utilize work breakdown structure (WBS), and evaluation of schedule float and utilization of critical path method (CPM).
Coordinating during the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction, making sure that the project gets done on time and within budget.
PROJECT DOCUMENTATION
Preparing project estimate & tender, finalizing contractors, checking the bills with estimated quantities and purchasing the materials for the site.
Managing bidding process from floating of bids to awarding of contracts; coordinating with bidders with regard to negotiations.
Overseeing the preparation of correspondence and memorandums regarding project status.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
Overseeing the selection of contractors, consultants to complete specific pieces of the project within given time limit.
Efficiently preparing in-house budgetary estimates for proposed projects.
Organizing weekly construction meeting with contractors and trade contractors for accomplishment evaluation of construction matters.
Conducting actual site inspection of projects and effectively performing quality control & assurance.

Lead role in the following tasks: In the consortium which was acting as the Construction Management Agency, my role was:
To supervise the Project Planning team to prepare baselines and to update schedules
To monitor cost and schedules variances
Assessing the project management plan and coordinating project funding updates.
Monitoring project progress and reporting the integrated cost and time performance to the Consortium
Support role in the following tasks: Working in the consortium office, I played active role in contract administration. In addition to evaluating the contractors pre-qualifications and tender documents also looked after project document control.
