OBJECTIVE:
* Coordinate Shipyard projects and project segments by specified objectives and within specified resources using production software.
* As well as providing 1st level IT Support within Shipyard boundaries.
* Providing in-house training for IT related activities and other duties assigned by Management on all levels.
Reporting Relationship:
* Reporting directly to the Vice President - Shipyard and collaborating closely with other team members.
DUTIES:
Project Planner/Coordinator:
• Coordinating program or project planning and implementation, including assessing needs, setting goals and objectives.
• Participating in project man hour budget planning and development.
• Planning project progress \[define sub goals, milestones and tasks, time and resource planning\]
• Planning personnel utilisation \[determine responsibilities, personnel planning\].
• Monitoring project progress and success \[assess risks and hazards to the success of the project and take appropriate measures for avoidance\].
• Establishing project work plan and calendar or schedules; monitors, reviews, and evaluates progress.
• Coordinating and attends meetings; establishes and maintains internal and external contacts as necessary.
• Providing advice to participants; serves as a liaison; acts as a resource person by performing research, analyzing information, providing documentation, and preparing reports (including daily man hours reports for all projects, work completion report for project and other reports).
• Monitoring record keeping and file maintenance for the program or project in Standard Time System.
• Supervising other project staff; assigns tasks; sets priorities.
• Monitoring actual man hours vs budgeted hours for specific task or project.
• Preparing records of project activities; oversees and ensures the timely processing in and the delivery of required projects.
• Verifying and analyzes the accuracy of all data and information used or generated by project; resolves any discrepancies or problems.
• Serving as liaison for department; coordinates activities and exchanges information regarding Production and Administration.
• Cooperating in determining benchmark figures for project implementation and decision documents for project release
• In-house training for Production Software (Standard Time System) and other IT software on all levels.
• Deployed Standard Time System in production department. Train end users and provided support for resolving issues for the same.
• Creating customize reports as per Management instructions.
• Creating training tutorials for end-users.
• Creating Database in SQL Server for Standard Time System (STD) and providing first level support for SQL Server (including connectivity of the Database with STD, user account creation and working close with IT Dept. for back up of the database).
Web Designer / IT Desktop Support:
• Designed and maintaining new website of MILAHA http://www.milahaml.com using CMS technology along with Photoshop, HTML, JQUERY, CSS and Flash.
• Handling daily technical support activities on desktop support.
• Setup desktop computers & peripherals.
• Oversee and update assigned support service requests.
• Install and test desktop software applications and internet browsers.
• Test computers to ensure proper functioning of computer systems.
• Adhere to policies as per corporate manuals and directives.
• Maintain computer peripheral devices like printers and resolve associated problems.
• Extend first line support on connectivity and standard applications.
• Handle preventive maintenance such as checking peripherals, printers, desktops and laptops.

IT and SAP SUPPORT - OCT 2010 TILL FEB 2012 (KARACHI)
Reporting directly to the G.M IT Department and performing additional duties as HSSE Training Coordinator.
DUTIES:
SAP SUPPORT:-
• Applied support package using SPAM and JSPM. Kernel patch
• Worked on SAP Security in all SAP Modules like HR, FICO, MM, PM, PP and SD.
• Transport Administration - Troubleshooting and Monitoring issues related to Transports.
• Performed system refresh from PRD to QAS.
• Day to day support for the Development, Testing and production environments.
• Applied SAP correction notes as per the SAP and Developers requirements.
• Monitoring backups and investigate the logs for unsuccessful backup.
• Monitoring Table space growth, Resizing and adding data files to the table spaces using BRTOOLS and verifying database consistency
• Conduct load balancing across active application servers and maintain system profile parameters to optimize performance.
