Current job.Responsibilities and Duties:Medical Service Management, advise medical management on Environmental Medicine issues and Health monitoring in all related occupational medicine, medical and emergency assistance. Offer technical supervision to a highly qualified staff including industrial audiologists, optometrists, and health practitioners.Evaluate placement physicals for compatibility with the jobs demands; periodic physicals for management of correctable conditions; special physicals for monitoring hazardous exposures; and termination physicals for documenting the validity claims.Plan certain industrial rehabilitation services, such as frequency- selective hearing aids for cases with acoustic trauma in the Hearing Conservation Program. Recommend individual job restrictions for employees with physical and health handicaps.Participate in design of new industrial plants & processes to minimize health problems. Undertake periodic field surveys to detect any job-related medical hazards.Very close collaboration with prevention department of the factory, under guidelines of the National Institute of Safety and Health, IOSH, European Commission. Serve as a consultant to clinical medicine staff in treatment of occupational diseases, and provide other physicians with information on most recent technical advances in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of such diseases. Analyze and interpret statistical data for evaluation of component programs. Medical Service staff: 3 physicians GP, 1 ENT specialist, 1 Ophthalmologist specialist, 4 nurses, 2 physiotherapist and 2 paramedics.Medical Service General Equipment: X-Ray equipment, physiotherapist gymnasium ( TENS, microwave, laser, pharmacy with drugs, treatment room, contract with external clinical analysis laboratory, Semiautomatic Desfibrillator, equipment for CPR and ambulance.
