Post contract administration activities like:
Exercising expertise as a consultant quantity surveyor to oversee and supervise the technical and commercial aspects of residential and commercial construction projects. Ensuring meticulous cost control and comprehensive reporting throughout the post-contract management phase.
Administering claims and contractual agreements, encompassing contract review, negotiation, evaluation of variations, and guaranteeing adherence to contractual obligations.
Monitoring project advancement, diligently tracking delays, and preparing regular financial reports for esteemed senior management and clients.
Providing authoritative guidance on contractual matters, proficiently interpreting, and implementing contractual obligations, and adeptly resolving disputes.
Identifying and evaluating project risks associated with costs, procurement, scheduling, and quality. Implementing robust strategies to mitigate risks and secure triumphant project outcomes.
Establishing and nurturing strong client relationships, gaining an intimate understanding of their needs and objectives, and providing regular updates and insightful recommendations to facilitate informed decision-making.
Ensuring unwavering compliance with pertinent laws, regulations, and industry standards related to quantity surveying, cost management, health and safety, as well as environmental sustainability.
Conducting thorough site visits and inspections to assess progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and contractual agreements.
Evaluating and making recommendations of Payment Certificates/Claims/Variation Orders/Day Work Orders.
Preparing progress reports in accordance with company standards.
As a Consultant QS, responsible for overseeing the Post Contract management works throughout the Construction Phase.
Understanding and identifying changes in the scope of works based on the Contractor's submittals, alternative proposals, change requests, RFIs, and Engineer comments on shop drawings.
Reviewing and providing recommendations for Potential Change Requests (NPCs)/Variations (AVVs) in alignment with quality control plan formats.
Preparing comprehensive analyses and recommendations for Nominated Subcontract-related tender evaluations and Subcontractor selections for PMC/Client consideration.
Attending and addressing commercial matters during progress review meetings.
Generating Commercial/Costing reports to provide clear insights and analysis.
Preparing Statement at Completion and Final Accounts.
Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor for the drawing study, measurement take off, material take off & rate analysis.
Preparation of detail measurement sheets for the progress of works related to the re-measured contract.
Understanding Contracts / Identifying and notification to the Consultants for change in scope of works.
Preparation of Change work requests/orders/Day works sheets. Preparation of Monthly progress invoices.
Preparation of commercial progress reports as per the company standards, Selection of appropriate contract forms from Company Standards
Project Work - Concrete Structures and Technology - Multi story structural design.
