Senior Site Engineer Acting as Project Construction Manager Project Name: Saudi British Bank SABB New Head Quarters
Development of multi-story building envelope.
May 2019 - Current
o A building consisting of 35 story multipurpose headquarters having a façade consisting of steel elements, GRC panels and glazing.
o Involved in the supply chain management, procurement and testing for façade materials from local and abroad suppliers through conducting supplier factory visits and setting execution schedules.
o Responsible for the progress of installing Unitized Curtain Wall and Stick System for more than 4500m2 of glazing area.
o Directed subcontractor skilled labor to execute works in accordance with the building specifications, code and bill of quantities and as outlined in project quality plans and schedules.
o Supervision on site for the installation process for the Installation of more than 900 tons of special grade steel members for façade.
o In charge for the joinery/finishing works in tower
o Reviewed and negotiated consultant/client representative non-conformance claims on
design defects or quality of workmanship noticed, accordingly ensured the implementation
of the corrective action agreed upon.
Development of main MOI buildings
2016 - Current
o Development of the design drawings for building enclosure system (façade) into shop drawings including 960 precast panels, aluminum and glass works.
o Involved in the tender process, design and risk reviews up to Ordering materials and handover to execution.
o Installation of aluminum and glazing works (more than 3000m2) with special security requirements (bullet resistant system).
o Supervision on site for the installation process for the precast panels and aluminum including inspections, approvals and final handling.
o Installation of 3.2 km precast panel boundary wall around the project.
o Reviewed client representative on non-Conformity Claims on parts and technical issues and
owned the fulfillment of agreed solution.
Site engineer for the high speed railway station project responsible for daily tasks including concrete casting, finishing works, coordination between civil and MEP works. Expertise in finished white concrete structures
Performed arrangement to set inspections and deal with technical issues on site.
o Inspection of finishing trades, wall cladding, tiling (mechanical fixation) installation of VEC
and VEP translucent wall cladding systems.
o Follow up with client requirements as in communication, including status reporting,
variations in design and tender packages.
o Follow up with engineering department on required site modifications and arrange for implementation.
