• To develop, implement and monitor Board occupational health and safety policy, program and procedure.
• To assist the Board in complying with current health and safety legislation and regulation with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measure are taken to protect safety and health of workers, staff and visitor.
• Hazard analysis and risk assessment. Assist in developing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for identifying hazards - coordinate the implementation of KPI from result of hazard analysis.
• Incident investigation and reporting Near miss and observation reporting Through Al Adaa OSH Electronic application to OSHAD.
• Quarterly OHS performance Report through Al Adaa OSH electronic application to OSHAD.

• To coordinate registration and renewal of hazardous waste.
• To arrange for occupational health and safety testing and evaluation of the workplace by the external consultants as many be necessary.
• Carryout regular HSE Inspection of site and workplace to determine whether the work is being carried out in accordance with the company policy, standards and procedures with all management levels giving advice on how to deal with problems that effect health and safety.
• Ensure that the company HSE Policy is brought to the notice of all employees, particularly new employees, carryout all work in accordance with requirements and bring to the notice of the General manager any improvement or addition which are felt necessary.
• Carryout investigations of Incident/ accidents in accordance with company procedure prepare and submit reports to the company management.
• Responsible for HSE Implementation and maintaining HSE rules & Regulation in the company and Project.
• Developing & maintaining hazard reporting culture in the company employees.
• Preparation of weekly Site HSE Reports.
• Maintaining HSE records (checklist, audits, HSE meetings, HSE Trainings, weekly reports etc).
• Perform safety audits and inspections, carryout injury review for identification of pro-active and corrective measure to prevent accidents.
• Perform accident review and accident reporting. Perform root cause analysis, health and safety hazard analysis and environment aspect and impact analysis.
• Monitor all critical activities and assure proper Checklist/ permit to work is in place.
• Verify adequacy of all equipments to be used on site (Including portable tools & lifting gears etc).
• Delivering of HSE tool box talks, Conduct required HSE induction training courses.
• Conduct continuous awareness of all employees in reporting Near Miss & Unsafe act Conditions.
• Proper and timely accident reporting and investigation as when does happen.
• Implementation of safe working procedures in accordance with Company HSE manual and policy
• Monitoring through presence on site critical lifting operations, confined space entries working at height, hot & cold jobs, loading/ unloading, sand blasting, equipment
• Inspection and checking of driver s and vehicles on regular basis as well as licenses and certificates and emergency drill practice on monthly basis.
• Carrying out audits and review of Contractors and other third parties and HSE performance reporting (internal) and assisting with incident investigation as needed and promoting periodic meetings will all those on site responsible for safety..
