Projects Planning, Evaluation and Plan Execution
• Preparing project financial plans and then signing off the financial viability of the project based upon the preorder costing and risk analysis.
• Negotiation of financial terms with customers. Major customers/Projects handled are:

• Ensuring the implementation of project financial plans, identifying variances, and conducting project financial close out with post order costing and reconciliation.
Financial Planning, Arrangement, Management and Financial Reporting
• Providing leadership in the development of strategic financial objectives and deciding optimal mix of financing in terms of debt equity ratio and short or long term financing.
• Representing company with banks and financial institutions to arrange financial solutions e.g. LC, Cheque Discounting, Invoice Discounting and Overdraft.
• Managing processes for financial forecasting, budgets, financial analysis, providing recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
• Overseeing accounting personnel to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and coordinating with external auditors for annual audit.
Financial Risk Management
• Conducting risk assessment for new customers/projects, including credit risk.
• Getting a credit limit approved by National General Insurance (NGI) a partner of Coface, reporting any underperforming credits and fulfilling all other reporting requirements.
SOPs Development and Internal Controls Management
• Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOP) for different business transactions/functions.
• Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place and ensuring compliance with IFRS and applicable regulatory laws and rules for financial reporting.
• Leading in developing, implementing, and maintaining cost control environment.

1. Bismillah Textiles Limited the flagship company of the Bismillah Group is one of the leading players in Textile. It’s a vertically integrated composite textile unit, engaged in manufacturing of Yarn, Greige/Processed Fabrics, Home Textile, and Garments. The company employees more than 4000 people.
2. BNP (Pvt.) Limited A Real Estate developer with projects e.g. construction of a world renowned five star” Grand Hayyat Hotel” under the corporate umbrella of BNP (Pvt.) Limited (A joint venture).
As Manager Group Accounts & Finance, I was providing wide range of services including:
• Planning future financing requirements and regularly reviewing debt portfolio for optimum rates. Moreover, assisting in preparation of business plans and financial forecasting for other ventures being considered.
• Supporting financial management in directing budgeting, cost controlling and maintaining cost check.
• Overseeing treasury, budgeting, procurement, income tax, sales tax and internal audit activities of the group and its components.
• Ensuring timely financial and statistical reports to senior management and board of directors
• Formulating and deliberating on business plans and growth opportunities and providing first hand financial and business analysis to board to support relevant proposals
• Ensuring compliance with required financial and accounting standards and controls.
• Maintaining oversight of talent acquisition for the group in various functions and departments and ensuring head count are properly allocated
• Liaising with external stakeholders including suppliers, banks, and regulators to ensure seamless communication loop and to keep abreast of changes in relationship with those stakeholders and to address their requirements.
• Production-planning supervision, scheduling for production, overseeing the preparation of schedules to ensure work in process and stocks being within set limits in terms of working capital management.
• Conducting periodical/ad hoc reviews to ensure that processes and functions are compliant of various policies and procedures and ensuring regulations are adhered to at all times.

• Providing comprehensive financial management of the company, including:
- Financial analysis to support key decision making
- Maintenance of the financial Performa and business plan
- Annual capital and operational budgeting
- Cash flow projections
- Maintenance of company accounts and records
• Ensuring compliance with required financial and accounting standards and controls.
• Production of Monthly/Annual accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Liaising with various stakeholders including internal business partners, Banks, external and internal auditors.
