Projects Planning, Evaluation and Plan Execution

• Preparing project financial plans and then signing off the financial viability of the project based upon the preorder costing and risk analysis.

• Ensuring the implementation of project financial plans, identifying variances, and conducting project financial close out with post order costing and reconciliation.

Financial Planning, Arrangement, Management and Financial Reporting

• Providing leadership in the development of strategic financial objectives and deciding optimal mix of financing in terms of debt equity ratio and short or long term financing.

• Representing company with banks and financial institutions to arrange financial solutions e.g. LC, Cheque Discounting, Invoice Discounting and Overdraft.

• Managing processes for financial forecasting, budgets, financial analysis, providing recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

• Overseeing accounting personnel to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and coordinating with external auditors for annual audit.

Financial Risk Management

• Conducting risk assessment for new customers/projects, including credit risk.

• Getting a credit limit approved by National General Insurance (NGI) a partner of Coface, reporting any underperforming credits and fulfilling all other reporting requirements.

SOPs Development and Internal Controls Management
• Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOP) for different business transactions/functions.

• Ensuring that effective internal controls are in place and ensuring compliance with IFRS and applicable regulatory laws and rules for financial reporting.

As Manager Group Accounts & Finance, I was providing wide range of services including:

• Planning future financing requirements and regularly reviewing debt portfolio for optimum rates. Moreover, assisting in preparation of business plans and financial forecasting for other ventures being considered.
• Supporting financial management in directing budgeting, cost controlling and maintaining cost check.
• Overseeing treasury, budgeting, procurement, income tax, sales tax and internal audit activities of the group and its components.
