• Isolation and identification of Bacterial and Fungal pathogens from clinical specimens.
• Antibiotic Susceptibility testing & reporting for Bacterial pathogens.
• Processing of all Clinical specimens including Pus, Wound swab, Genital specimens &
body fluids, CSF, Synovial, Pleural ENT swabs, Eye swab, Sputum, Catheters, and Urine, Stool, etc.
• Anaerobic culture techniques & AFB culture technique by manual and BACTEC method
• Well experienced in Blood culture techniques, both manual and automated BACTEC and BacT/ALERT methods.
• Serological tests including ELISA for HIV, HCV, HBsAg, HBcAb, HBeAg, ANA,
Leptospira, Dengue, TB etc.
• Immuno Blotting techniques like Western blot for HIV 1 & 2
• All type of staining techniques & Microscopic methods, Preparation of Medias, Stains,
• Sterilization and Decontamination procedures.
