• Ensuring feeds from different applications like Equities settlement systems, Fixed Income, Treasury, GMI(F&O) are correctly fed into bank’s General ledger for Americas.
• Coordinating with various Trade Support and Middle Office teams to ensure static data on all instruments is accurate and all calculations on the system are accurate to enable correct PnL for trades.
• Overlooking the data received from upstream system and send out the Exception report to the Product controllers for the missing records/ entries in the Ledger.
• Reconciling balances between various upstream systems with Peoplesoft General Ledger balances.
• Testing of New feeds coming into the General Ledger.
• Analyzing the feed messages and root cause analysis for suspense.
• New Entity setups, Accounts, Books, Reference Data, Counterparty and Bank Account setups in PeopleSoft
• Meet the needs of users in the form of training troubleshooting on individual issues with the general ledger and reporting applications.
• Monitoring FX Revaluation Processes.
• Systems used - Oracle (PeopleSoft 9.1), DB Artisan - Embarcadero (Database Administration solution), PL / SQL (Structured Query Language), Business Intelligence Reporting.
• Participated in various Global projects for Nomura.
 BCBS239 - Setting up automated static data workflow through Nomura Structure.
 Build Controls Mechanism to integrate PeopleSoft & Dodge system for US region.
 IMPACT - Migration of legacy Fixed income settlement system to third party vendor (Broadridge)
 NTAPS - Decommissioning of legacy Equity settlement system & created a new (BPS) system.
