Achievement: I have optimized the design before starting the FEED stage which resulted in more than USD35M cost saving, more simplified design and less O&M cost.
Project Name: CONSTRUCTION OF TWO DIESEL OIL SERVICE TANKS AND LOADING FACILITY AT SOUTH JETTY in AL KHAFJI (Bulk Plant) Project Value US$22 million FEED Contractor : SAUD CONSULT, KSA EPC Contractor : ALGHANIM INT’L, KUWAIT Design, Construction and Commissioning of Two Diesel Oil Service Tanks with capacity of 6000 bbl each with 4 (four) boat loading stations and 1 (one) truck loading station for gravity and pump mode operation. Terminal Management System, Fire and safety system, Utility system and Oily water system. Review DBSP and develop FEED document, Construction and commissioning of the project as per Saudi Aramco specification. (Project in EPC phase) Responsibility: Technical Review and approval of DBSP. Develop FEED document. Coordination with different KJO Departments for the finalization of FEED document Preparation of Tender documents. Chairman Job-Ex meeting. Lead and manage a Team of Technical and Contract experts for the Tender evaluation Detailed presentation to Aramco EXCUTIVE Management for a budget approval. Lead the Kick off meeting. Chair the weekly and monthly progress meeting. Guide the PMT to resolve their major technical & administrative problems. Chairman for project related meetings/committees with EPC Contractor Evaluating Contractor’s performance evaluation & report to the management. Responsible for making a quality Organization Chart of the division based on the individual performing ability in the specific field for better productivity. Guiding Team in proper execution of Project Completion Schedule, Monthly Progress Update & resolving confliction between Aramco Std and other standards. Encourage & watch closely to all the project Team members on their project progress against the approved schedule. Report to Department Manager regarding the project status
Project Name : EXPANSION OF KHAFJI CRUDE FACILITIES

Project Description:
1) Pre-settling Facilities to remove water content from crude oil consist of two dome type pressurized tanks (20K Barrel each), five booster pumps, five water pumps and demulsifier package.
2) Heat Medium System consist of three fired heaters 45 MW each, ten heat exchangers and three recirculation pumps.
3) Oil Reclaiming System to improve environmental conditions: one tank, two recovered oil vessels, emulsion treatment package and demulsifier package.
4) Loading (exporting) and Metering Facilities: four crude loading pumps (3000 HP each), four Variable Frequency Drives and two custody metering stations
5) Switchgear and control building. The building includes 13.8 & 4.16 kV switchgears, 480V switchgears & MCCs, Distributed Control System (DCS, Honeywell), UPS and HVAC systems.
Responsibilities:
Lead all Detail Design and Engineering activities
develop design review milestones
Determine Project requirement in terms of manpower and services
Assist in the preparation of proposals for prospective work
Establish Project management team, Initiate and Prepare responsibilities matrix for project management team
In charge about all construction activities, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up of the new plant
Review all purchase orders; follow up with materials and equipments inspection and testing schedule.
Evaluate, negotiate and finalize all Change/Variation Order
Review and provide input to the Project Schedulers.
Provide input to the Monthly Report.
Ensure that all engineering construction plans and specifications are current, properly distributed as part of Document Control.
Conduct project daily and weekly meeting. Update the Management with the latest project status, progress and concerns on weekly and monthly basis
Project Description & Responsibility:
• RELOCATION OF ELECTRICAL LOADS AND AS BUILT OF SINGLE LINE DIAGRAMS
preparing the scope of work for the FEED the project

Handled the modification of power cable requirement, modification of existing switch gear at Y2 Flow station, installation of 4.16 KV switchgear at TS-62 well jacket, installation of cable trays, lightning protection system and grounding system.
• IMPROVEMENTS IN THE SECURITY SYSTEM FOR AGOC EXPLOSIVE & STORAGE FACILITY
(As directed by Saudi Ministry of interior)
Lead a Team of engineers and technicians to install CCTV’s, supply of sufficient Metal detectors, Structural improvements to the facility entry and exit doors.
Responsibilities:
• Designing Master Plan of power distribution system of Old Home Ownership area at Khafji (approximately 200 Houses).
• Supervise repair & maintenance activities of Power Distribution Group.
• Design & Modify Power Distribution System.
• Analyze & Evaluate transformer test results for N.A. substations.
• Submit recommendations & coordinate with BFD to improve Distribution System.
• Perform cable routing using RD-433.
• Perform switching to shift the loads from feeder to another.
• Perform cable fault locating.
• Attend & supervise any emergency job and take immediate/appropriate action.
• Prepare & follow up Work Orders for the following works:
Installing new substation.
Laying down new power cable.
Installing new busbar chamber.
Installing WHM.
• Prepare shutdown schedule and verify switching order.
• Review catalogue, recommend and approve testing equipment for Electrical Division.
• Review, recommend and approve substation specifications for N.A.
• Maintain proper filing of documents.
• Coordinate with HRD and submit recommendations to design and improve training program for Electrical Division.
• Coordinate with SCECO.
• Prepare correspondence/letters.

• Designing power distribution system Master Plan of newly developed area at Khafji (approximately 1400 lot).

• Performance overhead and underground line inspection and maintenance.
• Preparation of operation switching order for daily shutdown schedule.
• Load shifting from grid station to grid station and from feeder to feeder during emergencies.

• Monitoring load reading of grid stations and substations.
