Held the responsibility of all maintenance activities in AGL including PMs, CMs, staff
scheduling and all office work such as reporting, consumption analysis, vendors contacting, air side
certification requirement, official letters (Arabic and English) preparing, National standard (GACA) and
international standards (ICAO) fulfilling, documentation, spare parts lists preparing and dealing with
government.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise the functionality of all aerodrome and infrastructure, AGL, facilities and installations in
compliance with written procedures.
2. Ensure that the operation and maintenance of aerodrome systems meets the requirements of the
company and applied standards.
3. Follow up the annual preventive maintenance schedule, and ensure its strict implementation.
4. Plan and supervise the preventive maintenance of systems according to a preset calendar and in
compliance with the procedures in force.
5. Adhere to and promote Airport Operations & Safety instructions and Health & Safety legislations.
6. Coordinate with the engineers and inspectors in establishing monthly inspection schedule programs
and to make sure the schedule is distributed before the beginning of the month.
7. Report to the authorized personnel over difficulties, shortcomings and faults and take necessary
actions.
8. Provide technical support and advice related to compliance matters.
9. Follow up on work methods and decision help tools (action plans, KPI, annual reports, budget
estimates, statistics, planning, work procedures, training schedules etc.).
10. Review and make recommendations on budgetary estimates related to the aerodrome maintenance.
11. Monitor and follow up with outsourced vendors, service providers, and/or contractors’ performance to
ensure quality of outsourced service.
12. Coordinate with other stakeholder’s e.g. Air Traffic Control Tower (ATC), Airway Engineer
effectively especially in emergency to solve problems quickly and as required in term of maintenance
issues.
13. Supervise the operational expenditures (OPEX) of the annual demands for spare parts and tools and the
capital expenditures (CAPEX) of the section.
14. In charge for the development of project plans, aerodrome documentation including manuals and
checklists.
15. Follow up the new projects in the aerodrome in compliance with the Company’s manuals & standards
and make all necessary coordination.
16. Monitor the performance of aerodrome maintenance personnel at all levels.
17. Comply with ICAO, GACA and airport regulations.
