• In-depth knowledge of the Datacenter virtualization, Datacenter Consolidation, Datacenter Operations and Optimization along with data Center Migration.

Key responsibilities: Expertise in designing SAN, NAS, Backup, Virtualization, Public & Private Cloud based, Datacentre solutions with Dell-EMC and different Storage OEMs, Hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V etc.), UNIX, Amazon Web Services (AWS), with Cisco and Brocade products. Identify overall solution requirements; develop possible technical solutions, Implementation and Data Center transformation. Well versed with Converged & Hyperconverged, All Flash Storage, Hybrid Storage and Software Defined Storage Technologies.

Responsibilities: •Maintain and manage various SAN and NAS storage products -, DMX, Symmetrix, clarrion, Celerra, Iomega-NAS, SUN Storage, Hitachi HUSVM, IBM DS Series, IBM-XIV, HP-EVA/MSA, Disk Library, san fabric, FC-IP router, NAS Gateway, SAN Switch etc.
•Administration and Management of the Complete VM-Ware Environment and Physical Wintel Servers.
•Management and Administration of the SUN Solaris and IBM-AIX machines.
•Regular IT backup Tasks, along with the management of the Customers Backup environment.
•Maintain SAN/NAS Storage hardware and configuration.
•Produce and maintain configuration document that describes the san space allocation.
•Allocate space as requested (Zoning, Mapping and Masking)
•Produce and maintain asset inventory of all storage Hw/Sw.
•Manage and monitor storage along with capacity Planning.
•Regularly checking the Space utilization and alert monitoring.
•Manage various SAN sync/async replication between Data Centre, and Data Recovery site.
•Configuring and testing the replication. Creating the DR document for various Storage equipments
•Creating and maintaining the Storage configuration documents.
•Taking backup as per policy and Restoration test as per backup policy.
•Multipathing Software (EMC Power path) installation & maintenance.
Worked as a Tech-2 SSE with EMC CLARiiON EP in an environment where had to attend calls from across the globe and provide immediate assistance to the customers related to any and all types of problems they faced for any model of EMC CLARiiON (CX3 and CX4 series).
•Was also a part of Wipro-EMC Training and development team and promulgated then newly launched AX series to the new joinees.
