ROLES AND ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Coordinate with the Team of Engineers/consultants/legal/planners for the preparation, finalizations and deliveries of the tender documents for Waterfront/Palm Jebel Ali infrastructural projects and later on, in the Southern Projects, to ensure that it is in accordance with business plan.
• Initially designated as Project Manager for the Waterfront Potable Water Distribution Mains and Sewerage Trunk Networks(105kM) with pipe diameter ranging from 200mm to 4000mm with a grand contract value 0f AED 616.5 Millions; from April 6, 2007 to April 30, 2009. Then as “Acting Resident Engineer from October 1. 2008 to April 30, 2009”.
• In July 2007, designated Acting Senior Project Manager for the Waterfront Wet and Dry Infrastructures.
• Technically Assist the Infrastructure Director in the Preparation of the Strategic and Operation Plans related to Waterfront Roads and Interchanges including TIS/TMP, Wet Utilities including potable water distribution mains, sewage collection system, irrigation transmission mains, and sewage treatment plant; Stormwater Drainages and district cooling system; and Dry Utilities Including electrical transmission/distribution and telecommunication distribution system.
• Prepare monthly project progress report for the Waterfront potable water and sewer trunk mains project, as required by the Waterfront Senior Management; from April 2008 to February 2009.
• Chaired weekly progress meeting with the project management team, contractor management and staff, and the resident supervision staff (Mouchel) for the Waterfront potable water and sewer trunk mains project; from April 2007 to April 2009.
• Prepare projected miscellaneous projects cash flows related to waterfront wet utilities projects, as required by senior management.
• Draft Business Case for future Waterfront Wet Utilities design/construction works, as required by the senior management.
• Closely coordinate with the various Business Development Teams of the Southern Projects to ensure deliveries of the remaining rough grading, canal earthworks/concrete works and soil engineering; potable water, irrigation water, firewater and sewerage system, in a timely manner.
• Lead the Review/Approve Infrastructure Consultant prepared design drawings related to Waterfront/Palm Jebel Ali potable water system, sewerages, irrigation mains, firewater system, and stormwater drainage including tender documents prior to issuance of tender documents by procurement and contract department; and associated coordinated with Dubai Government Authorities.
• From February 2009; coordinate with the various stakeholders of the Nakheel Southern Project related to Wet Utilities including Waterfront, Palm Jebel Ali, Al Furjan, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Height, and Jumeirah Village.
• Review whatever Tender Documents prepared by the Consultant, related to potable water system, sewerage collection system and MBR STP, irrigation system, fire water system, landscape irrigation system, lift stations and stormwater drainage; specifically, the general and particular specifications, Bills of Quantities, and drawings.
• Update Waterfront potable water/irrigation demands, Sewage/stormwater flows and cooling make-up water including mass water balance, from December 16, 2007 to October 2, 2009.
• Update Palm Jebel Ali potable water/irrigation demands, Sewage/stormwater flows and cooling make-up water including mass water balance, from February 2009 to-date.
• Prepared the technical part of the tender documents for contract # N018.01.00.0040; Completion of the potable water and sewer trunk mains for Badrah Manara and Veneto East, in Waterfront development.
