In order to address the challenge of Jordan's limited water resources, the five-year project "Community-Based Initiatives for Water Demand Management" funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Mercy Corps is designed to empower and enable communities in rural Jordan to address water scarcity by improving water use efficiency and water availability. The project’s main target group is the grass-root end users (household heads, farmers, community leaders, youth, students…etc) which are reached though Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), such as voluntary societies and cooperative societies.
Managing all field activities.
Assessing selecting eligible CBOs.
Insuring sustainable high quality implementation of Water Demand Management projects in 135 communities of Jordan.
Insuring efficiency of revolving loan systems with high repayment rate in 135 communities of Jordan.
Conducted much training on loan management manual targeting selected CBOs.
Visit and inspect community based organizations (CBOs) who has submitted proposals.
Supervise community based organizations (CBOs) in the designated governorates.
Supervise and coordinating between field officers.
Follow up the field finance support officer.

Organized and lectured three training days for school teachers in the Jordan Valley on EUREPGAP requirements.
Planned and lectured four training days for students from University of Jordan- Faculty of Agriculture on EUREPGAP requirements.
Assisted in producing Fish Farming, & GAP manuals funded by USAID.
Assisted in producing 23 agricultural Fact Sheets funded by USAID.
Support community revolving grants activities.
Follow up, monitoring and provide technical input for the beneficiary farmers.
Introduce a computerized network water mark system into three big farms in Al Mafraq area, which reduced the irrigation water consumption in each farm by 30%.
Produce Fish Farming educational video.
Conduct many workshops regarding Fish Farming targeting women from the Jordanian Women Forum in several Jordanian governorates.
Assisted in selecting potential CBOs.
