In order to address the challenge of Jordan's limited water resources, the five-year project "Community-Based Initiatives for Water Demand Management" funded by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Mercy Corps is designed to empower and enable communities in rural Jordan to address water scarcity by improving water use efficiency and water availability. The project’s main target group is the grass-root end users (household heads, farmers, community leaders, youth, students…etc) which are reached though Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), such as voluntary societies and cooperative societies.


 Managing all field activities.
 Assessing selecting eligible CBOs.
 Insuring sustainable high quality implementation of Water Demand Management projects in 135 communities of Jordan.
 Insuring efficiency of revolving loan systems with high repayment rate in 135 communities of Jordan.
 Conducted much training on loan management manual targeting selected CBOs.
 Visit and inspect community based organizations (CBOs) who has submitted proposals.
