• Assist the Senior Manager to smooth the day to day operation in respect to General Insurance and interfere to solve any critical issue that may occur and directly manage the branch general insurance department C.S.G. in his absent.
• Decide if application for insurance cover (high risk) should be accepted and what the terms, condition, warranties & excluding should be and offer cover on standard terms, Prepare quotations, issuing of new policies, certificates, prepare endorsements, Impose additional conditions or charges and studying various insurance proposals in respect of various type of General Insurance (Marine, Liability, Property, Hull & Engineering).
• Coordinate the critical item shipments for major projects alongside with the participated reinsurance, to decide whether to conduct a loading/unloading survey, Marine warranty survey, or suggest certain recommendations prior sailing.
• Manage Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNCO) general account, including claims follow up, major project underwriting and their entire Hull related Insurance business.
• Prepare and issue various reports and statistics under various policies or clients accounts and assist the branch manager in setting the yearly branch plane and budget analysis.
• Occasionally: conduct risk surveys, claims surveys, visiting existing clients and present the company for potential clients.
• Nominated in the first contact list for all the major policies and claims handling procedures.
• Contact Point for Mashreq Bank Relationship Officers in Abu Dhabi for any assistance concerning insurance related issues, as part of the initiative lunched between OIC & Mashreq Bank in June 2012.
• Contact Person for OIC Tenders Unit in respect of all Tendering issues in Abu Dhabi region including submission & booking.
• Assist the Non-Motor claims unit for any claim related issue for General Insurance and coordinate with the appointed loss adjusters directly for major claims.
Handling all type of marine insurance policies, quotations & Tenders. Including Marine Cargo & hull claims processing.
