A new challenge for a one year contract, working as a Maintenance & engineering office Manager at Philadelphia University- Jordan, following up 350, 000 m2 land with 17 large building working on .
Working as a consultant engineer in Jordan Schools Project (JSP); funded by USAID, with Camp, Dresser and Makee - CDM International inc.; it is an American one Billion company-Jordan branch.
1) Site Engineer for 6 schools rehabilitation in Amman (cost was 1.8 Million USD)
2) Resident Engineer for New 6000m2 Schools (AlQadisya Sec Safout Co. Girls School) and 5, 000 m2 School (Al-Qabesy Secondary Co. Girls School (Salt)), school average cost is 5, 000, 000 USD). Responsibilities:
(1) Following up site construction process, through daily, weekly and monthly reports, also recording minutes of meetings and meeting notes.
(2) Contract administration; corresponding to contractor letters, as per contract documents, technical specifications, particular conditions, BOQ, drawings, FIDIC and any other related documents.
(3) Document controlling through (In-Out) many forms such as but not limited to: FIR(field inspection request), NCR(non conformity report), SDS (shop drawings submittal), CPR(concrete pouring request), MDR(material delivery request), SI(site instructions), RFI (request for information).....etc
(4) Check takeoff sheets and payments submitted by contractor
(5) Handing over schools to the ministry of public works and housing, DGB (department of general buildings)
(6) Following up snag (punch) lists.
1- Review structural shop drawing & make remarks.
2- Review BBS submitted by S/C & correct if needed.
3- Check Quality of executed works on site (before & after) through FIR & CPR.
4- Report non - conformance to direct supervisor.
5- Check slump tests & cubes taking.
6- Review concrete log sheet (traceability sheet).
7- Daily report.
AL-MANARA HOTEL is a project consists of a basement & six floors above the ground comprising a total area of 29, 800 m2 including 2 swimming pools, SPA, parking & a Moroccan Restaurant. The hotel consists of 200 guest rooms and the total cost of this project is 54 million JD.
