Working as a management trainee at DHL Pakistan. Currently on rotation to gain experience of different departments to nourish as a superior supply chain and freight forwarder professional. Learning how to develop yourself as a successful manager and deal with routine hiccups that operations face on regular basis. Lastly, at every department I am entitled to a project which I complete in giving timelines.
- Responsible for assisting upper management with formulating the brand's long-term strategy
- Execute marketing campaigns to support long term strategies
- Closely monitoring and analysing the sales volumes, competitive activity, and market share
- Coordinate product management, cost reduction projects with internal and external resources to achieve results (product development, production planning, trade promotion, sales, market research, consultants and advertising agencies).
As a marketing intern I got responsible for the launch of Juniors Account. I had to work upon the executions of activations required in launching Juniors Account. My overall role was to assist the marketing director in deploying the whole marketing plan and its execution. Along with that I was also working on the marketing plan of Diplomatic Enclave branch. Lastly, during my internship I executed the internal marketing campaign of Barclay's 3rd Year celebrations.
I was serving as business planning intern at Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited. However, my project requirement was to be situated in PM&S section. My project concentrated on expansion plan of PM&S section for near future by developing the possible layout of an area that will consist of 2 silos with its 2 bagging lines along with a palletizer. Moreover, challenging point to tackle in my project was to develop a possible layout for PM&S department expansion without effecting the daily routine operations of the department specially emphasizing on the fact that loading area remains intact with no hindrances in the day to day work.
Furthermore, I was also asked to introduce efficiency in the over all operations of PM&S section and point out any non productive practices taking place. Thus, I came up with an alternative of placing automated bagging process which was the conveyor belt system. This alternative idea proved to be effective & efficient and was accepted by departmental head.
