-Service Advisor Tasks:
1-Reciving the customer in the proper way respecting the procedure and standards of GM.
2-Collecting all information related to the customer and his vehicle and re-edited in the system working on.
3-Visual inspect on the vehicle adding notes of the customer needs and complaints, asking during that as much questions that can make the complaint easier to technician to work on.
4-Explain to the customer the type of job is going to be done on his vehicle including estimated time and coast.
5-Follow up with the workshop and customer while the vehicle is in progress.
6-Explainting extra jobs if found and estimation with technical reports to the customer regarding his vehicle, then taking approvals on repair estimates
7-Informing the customer when his vehicle is ready and explaining to him all job done on his vehicle showing him old parts and technician inspection checklist before I deliver him the car.
-Technical and Warranty Engineer Tasks:
1- Dealing with the service box system with all of its options (technical documentations, wiring diagrams, trouble shooting, repair procedures, diagnostics, scan tool catalogue, etc)
2- Carrying out the Recall campaigns and doing all supervision tasks:
-Advice reception team briefly regarding outstanding campaigns.
-When vehicle is received, follow up recalled vehicle with workshop and reception.
-To enter recalled vehicle info immediately after inspection/repairs are done, on service box system.
3- Making a quality reports for the recurrence problems, and contact the manufacturer company to figure a solution for the issue.
4- Make road tests for vehicles as final quality check or with customers to verify what kind of problem or failure facing with their vehicles.
5-Set a Warranty Diagnostic Sheet and filling it with (customer complaint, symptom, diagnosis, repairs/action).
6-Helping the Warranty department in making warranty complaints to get compensation.
- Automotive Maintenance Engineer Tasks:
1. Dealing with customers and listen to their demands and complaints.
2. The ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and repair it.
3. Assist service adviser technically and in diagnosis issues.
4. Completing final quality check on the vehicle before informing the ready status to the customer, and giving accurate inspection report.
