Setting the Brand & Communications direction from the overall Business strategy. Translate marketing strategies, sales analysis, corporate vision, and yearly objectives into executable plans.
• Brand message and value proposition development: including research and analysis of internal stakeholders, competitors, current clients, and prospects.
• Maintains constant communications with relationship and sales team to develop effective marketing programmes at the field and hospital networks.
• Develops communications for upper management pertaining to marketing updates, budget recaps and program evaluations. Develops presentations for internal and external meetings.
• Spearhead Public Relations team in developing strategic public relations initiatives.
• Brand Activation and public outreach campaigns. This includes sponsoring events and exhibitions.
• Program development and rollout of the Internal Brand Direction, to start radiating the Bupa brand values across all human channels and departments. Develop special compliment for the Customer services.
• Translate and align the Brand vision, with the web marketing plans of the enterprise, in conjunction with Bupa International.
• Works with the Retail Marketing team in directing the development of all national and local consumer promotion programming at retail.
• Works with the Corporate Product Managers, for new product launches and alignment with yearly marketing calendars.
• Conducts and oversees market research to determine consumer trends, product sales potential.
• Works with agencies in the creative development process and execution of all national, and local campaigns, including television, radio, print, outdoor, trade and alternative media.
• Lead media team in developing and evaluating all media plans, both on national and regional/local levels. Negotiating blanket agreements and selecting media assortments.
• Holds budgetry review meeting with internal audit and compliance departments
My role is to be the liase between the business planning and on ground executions.
• Strategy and Creation of the Marketing Plan.
• Marketing Department and Projects Marketing Budget formulation for 2008 and 2009.
• Implemented a central binding system for Project Marketing Managers for weekly reporting.
• Restructured the department and created a “Marketing Department Manual”.
• Implemented a central document control system to avoid any management pitfalls.
• Operations Management between the Marketing and all other departments (Sales, Finance, HR, IT, Property Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance etc).
• Communicating the department management decisions to all internal and external stakeholders.
• Hold regular status meetings with Project Marketing Managers. Drive the Project Marketing Managers to generate their yearly activity calendars.
• Management evaluations for all Marketing staff, and career growth planning.
I am the contact point with all departments, internal and external shareholders. Scout and drive the whole department and to support the Head of Marketing.
