✓ Check all guest reservation for the day. Checking the preference of the guest as per guest request or any special occasion.
✓ If there is any big group arriving to the hotel, designating rooms same floor level, preparing the registration paper for checking in and preparing the room key in advance.
✓ Tracking each and every rooms if there would be any changes in the room status.
✓ Checking and coordinating all the time with reservation team, front desk team and housekeeping team to make sure all the hotel status and room status are well organized and needs any additional information that needs to be fixed.
✓ Checking room status if its dirty status, clean status or complete status. To make sure room is ready for the new arriving guest in the hotel.
✓ Upon check out process, I am responsible to give a check out call to each guest and ask if they wanted to extend their stay, need any assistance from the bellboy to help in bring their luggage down to reception and if they want their bill to be ready once they come down to reception to check out.
✓ Coordinating with housekeeping to check the room once guest left the room upon check out to check if guest consumed any mini bar items and to check the room.
✓ Filing all guest information in the system, and scanning their identification id and putting the documents in their room file at the reception.
✓ Block rooms for guest with special occasion, coordinating with guest service to follow up to make sure that the room has a special set up ( example: if guest celebrating anniversary, i coordinate with guest service if they have set up the rooms with romantic candles, flower petals scattered around room, and if the complimentary cake and chocolate is placed in the room)
✓ If guest has complain at the reception, I approach guest and talk to guest until make sure guest doesn’t leave unhappy
✓ Making sure guest stays in hotel and has memorable and treasured experience with their family.
✓ Coordinating with housekeeping team making sure that amenities is complete in the room and room is perfectly clean before selling hotel room to guest.
✓ Handling staff schedules for front desk.
✓ At the end of the day submitting and checking cash report and journal report of every staff, and submitting and checking room reports.
✓ Entering data and information in the system of every guest experience in the hotel like guest complaints, guest suggestions, and guest satisfaction.
✓ Making sure that stationary in every department are provided every day.
✓ Provides leadership, training and support to all Front Desk staff and assists management in modeling and enforcing the Hotel's Standards of Excellence.
✓ Serves as the face of the hotel, providing guests with a first and last impression whenever possible.
✓ Assign room according to guest request and preferences whenever possible. Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets.
✓ Organize and coordinate check-in/pre-registration procedures for arriving groups. Review/Track/Accommodate requests for room/check-out changes when possible; communicate status to appropriate staff.
✓ Confirm reservations and cancellations. Review out-of-order rooms daily. Ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions.
✓ Verify and adjust billing for guests. File guest paperwork or documentation. Set up/process all guest check-ins/check-outs. Activate room keys. Secure valid payment. Identify any over-commitments.
✓ Perform duplicate reservation checks; block rooms.
✓ Run daily reports. Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction.
✓ Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.
