Managing the medical equipment procurement process.
Review of MEQ Shop drawings and proposing alterations to ensure minimal variation from consultant drawings if any.
Daily site supervision and inspections in parallel with construction, to ensure all medical equipment pre-installation requirements are in line with medical contractor’s shop drawings and consultant’s 1/50 drawings, including room dimensions, utilities’ location and specifications, etc.
Supervise the installation of new medical equipment.
Supervise the clinical / technical staff training on new medical equipment following installation, testing and preliminary acceptance.
Act as liaison between the Main Contractor and MEQ sub-contractor in representing the client and consultant with issues related to medical spaces and medical equipment coordination before, during and after installation.
Managing the medical equipment installation process including: delivery schedule, allocated resources and staff, reporting damages in any during product delivery/unpacking/assembly, receive factory acceptance test certificates, ensure the testing and commissioning protocols used on site are in line with manufacturers’ requirements, receiving of required warranties/guarantees and handing over of medical equipment.
